7.17.3 Replacing the lifter
Note
When an electrical adjustment option is retrofitted, then this option needs to be activated in the
driving program as well if you have an ACS2 remote.
Requirements:
· small blade screwdriver
· 13 mm jaw spanner
· 24 mm jaw spanner
· 6 mm jaw spanner
· 24 mm ring spanner
· Allen key 5 mm
· oblique pliers
· cable binder

Run the lifter up to the top position if possible.
·
Tilt the seat tilting completely to the rear if
possible.
·
Remove legrests.
·
Remove all plugs from the electronic module
and actuator module.
·
Loose and remove the four screws (2) with a
13 mm jaw spanner.
·
Lift the seat support (1) down from the lifter
(3).
·
Remove both battery cases as described in
Chapter 7.7.1.
·
Open the lifter energy chain. To this, lift the
cover (1) up on each chain link and pull the
clip (2) out.
·
Pull the cable out of the chain and expose
completely.
