Anti-theft Coding of Car Radios
The following is a description of the coding and decoding methods for the different types of car
radios.
Type of car radio: SCD 1590 VD
Entering the code number (initial operation):
1.
Switch the radio on.
The indication "CODE" appears on the display.
2.
Press station button 1 quickly.
The display shows "000".
3.
Enter the code number with the station buttons 1-4.
4.
Confirm the code number with the right station search button >.
Activating the coding:
1.
Switch the radio off.
2.
Press and hold the station buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously.
3.
Switch the radio on.
The indication "Cod" appears after 2 seconds on the display.
Deactivating the coding:
1.
Switch the radio off.
2.
Press and hold the station buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously.
3.
Switch the radio on.
The indication "Cod" appears on the display
4.
Enter the code number with the station buttons 1-4.
5.
Confirm the code number with the right station search button >.
