English Installation Water connections Please refer to the Safety information manual. - Finally wrap connections with anti-condensate insulation and tighten with tape, without exerting great pressure the insulation. - When all the installation connections are complete, start water filling. - When making the hydronic connections to the module, always use a counter spanner when tightening. - To avoid bacteria and dirty proliferation in the circuit it is recommended to use water treatment mixed water. - Place valves (not included) at the inlet and outlet of the hydronic module. - Use pipe 1" or bigger for the connection between the hydronic module and the floor / fan coil / radiator. Pump speed selection The pump provided with the module has 3 speeds. The installer selects the speed of the module pump in order to guarantee the target flow rate, knowing the available pressure of the system at different pump speed (see fig. 23a) and the pressure drop of the installation. Hydronid module CDU 80AW1 For 80AW2 modules, the installer should also decide the target flow rate for the zone, depending on the terminal connected; after that, the installer selects the speed of the pump knowing the available pressure of the system at different speeds (see fig. 23b) and the pressure drop of the installation. 80AWT 80AW2 38AW050 38AW065 38AW090 38AW115 38AW090 38AW115 5,0 6,5 9,0 11,5 9,0 11,5 5 5 5 5 5 5 Nominal Flow Rate [lt/h] 860 1118 1548 1978 1548 1978 Min Flow Rate [lt/h] 688 894 1238 1582 1238 1582 Max Flow Rate [lt/h] 1032 1342 1858 2374 1858 2374 Nominal Capacity [kW] Nominal DT [°C] Refrigerant connections Please refer to the Safety information manual and the R-410A- Installation manual. WARNING: The installer can rout the copper pipes from CDU to the hydronic module. However the refrigerant connections must be done by a skilled fridge installer during the commissioning. Before the commissioning the installer must rout the copper insulated pipe from CDU to the hydronic module, cut it at the correct length and close it at each side by pinching and adhesive tape. Make sure that during the routing, external materials do not enter in the pipes. 20 38AW050 38AW065 38AW090 38AW115 Max line length w/o additional refrigerant [m] 20 20 20 20 Min line lenght [m] 1 1 1 1 Max height differential between ODU/ ID [m] 6 6 6 6 Refrigerant R410A (standard<20m) [g] 1170 1360 2100 2100 80AW1- 80AWT - 80AW2 128H88__0-27_GB.indd Sez2:20 12-10-2009 9:16:48
