To the question regarding the transport of the rudder stock, the Canadian Coast Guard will
evaluate the option (on the ship or on a truck) according to the Contract award. Should the
contractor who won the tender require the rudder stock before the arrival of the ship, transport
costs will be negotiated equitably. Notwithstanding the chosen means of transportation, the
Contractor shall include the costs of handling the rudder stock once shipped to its facilities.
13.3.5 La section 13.5.3.2 doit être remplacée par la suivante :

Section 13.5.3.2 must be replaced by the following:
'' The steady bearing of the rudder stock well on the vessel must be machined to the re-quired

To the question regarding the prefabrication of section of piping, it was stated that a task would
be difficult because of the availability and quality of the plans, but the Canadian Coast Guard will
provide additional information relevant to the evaluation of the work.

15.2.1 À la question concernant les frais encourus par la présence du technicien du manufacturier

To the question regarding the fees incurred by the presence of the paint manufacturer technician,
it was confirmed that the costs in question are the responsibility of the Con-tractor.
