This manual explains operating method and important notices in the case of using SB-321. Since misoperation might cause unexpected faulty, be sure to read this manual before use for the purpose of using this machine properly and safely. Moreover, the end user should keep the manual at hand after reading it over. I For safe operation (1)Installation place Use the instrument where the temperature and humidity specify within the range as follows : x Environmental temperature : 䠉10 䉝 to 70 䉝 When deterioration of insulation is considered due to wide range of environmental temperature change, fill the instrument with white Vaseline after cable connection is completed.(Dryer will do.) (2)Location where installation is not allowed. Do not locate the instrument on the places such as follows: It cause unexpected faulty in the instrument. Warning x Do not locate the instrument in direct and/or high temperature area. x Please avoid to use in the place with the possibility of going under water. x Do not install the instrument where there are vibrations and shocks. x Do not use the instrument where there is excess of dusts and fine particles. x Do not install the instrument where there is rapid change of temperature and humidity. x Do not install the instrument near the devices that are magnetized or generate an㻌 electromagnetic field. x Do not install the instrument where the instrument may be affected by radioactivity or radial rays. x Avoid the location where chemical reaction may take place such as in a laboratory, or like that. (3)Matter that require attention in case of installation These are matters that require attention in case of installation, so be sure to read them. x When the instrument is installed outdoors, set the upper cover to the upward or in the vertical direction. And when vertical installation is requires, set the instrument in the status that the cable gland or drawing direction of gland for piping should be parallel with the ground. x When installing the instrument, fix it tightly with the screws. x Please close the hole of cable ground not used with the ground gasket or ground washer without a hole when you use it by summing in two or three points. Notes 1) According to the diameter of a cable, as shown in the following table, please use the ground packing property. Moreover, suitable solder less terminal are as follows: A: 3.2mm or more B: 7.0mm or less 3-4.Fixing the cable After wiring is completed, fix gland nut for cable gland in order to tighten the cable. Clamping should be applied until the gland nut will not turn, or clamping with the torque that specifies 150 to 200 kgf䞉cm. 3-5.Fixing the lid After fixing the cable, tighten the lid with hexagon socket head cap screws䠄M4䠅.
