Installation Install the device in a well-ventilated area. The operation in an unsufficiently ventilated room can lead to a condensation of the smoke fluid. The resulting slippery surface can cause accidents. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm around and above the device. Furthermore do not orientate the escape nozzle directly in the direction of the audience's eyes. In order to create a good effect, there should be a distance between the device and the audience of at least 1.5 m. Only install the smoke-machine on scratch resistant and water resistant surfaces. Please make sure that the inclination angle does not exceed 15°. This device is only constructed for a standing installation. Connection with the mains Connect the device to the mains with the power-plug. The occupation of the connection-cables is as follows: Cable Brown Blue Yellow/Green Pin Live Neutral Earth International L N The earth has to be connected! OPERATION Switch the device on via the power switch. The green and red LEDs of the remote control light up. After a certain warm-up time, the device is ready to operate. The green and red LEDs of the remote control turn off. By operating the FOG switch on the remote control the smoke emission starts. It may happen that the red LED stand-by lamp blinks and the smoke emission stops. In this case the device is heating up again, and will be ready to operate in approx. 1-2 min. This process guarantees an appropriate vaporization temperature and the best smoke emission possible. The temperature is regulated by a high quality thermostat. To engage the Timer Control Function depress the red button on the remote control (red LED will light up). To engage the timer function depress the yellow TIMER button and adjust the INTERVAL knob. The INTERVAL knob regulates the length of time of the smoke blast. The blast can be set for between 10 and 200 seconds. The DURATION knob controls the amount of smoke. This can be set between 1 and 10 seconds. For continuous smoke, depress the green button marked FOG (green LED will light up). This will set the unit to smoke steadily at the selected volume. The red POWER button overrides the Timer Control Function. Important: Always monitor tank fluid level as you are fogging. Running a fog machine with no fluid can permanently damage the unit. If you experience low output, pump noise or no output at all, unplug immediately. Check fluid level, the external fuse, remote connection, and power from the wall. If all of the above appears to be O.K., plug the unit in again. If fog does not come out after holding the remote button down for 30 seconds, check the hose attached to the tank to make sure there is fluid going through the hose.
