8. Do not operate this appliance with
an external timer or remote control
system.
9. Never immerse the appliance or
the lead cable in water or other
liquids.
10. The base should never come into
contact with water or other liquids.
In case this ever happens, the
appliance must be completely dry
before operating it again.
11. Do not clean the appliance in a
dish-washer.
12. Never touch the appliance or lead
cable with wet hands.
13. This appliance is intended for
domestic and similar use such as:
ƒƒstaff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
ƒƒagricultural enterprises;
ƒƒby clients in hotels, motels and
other accommodation facilities;
ƒƒbed and breakfast accommodations and holiday homes.
14. For safety reasons, never place the
appliance on hot surfaces, a metal
tray or a wet surface.
15. Do not place the appliance or lead
cable near open flames during
operation.
16. Always use the the appliance on a
level, uncluttered and heat-resistant surface.
17. Make sure that the lead cable
does not hang over the edge of the
worktop or table, since this can
cause accidents, for example if
small children pull on the cable.
18. Route the lead cable so that it is
prevented from being pulled or
tripped over.
19. Never wrap the lead cable around
the appliance, but around the
cable storage on the bottom of
the base.
20. Always disconnect the lead cable
from the wall socket pulling on the
plug, never on the cable.
21. Never carry the base by the lead
cable.
22. Use the appliance only indoors.
23. Do not use the appliance near
combustible materials such as
curtains etc.
24. Do not use the appliancein the
oven or the microwave.
25. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is always completely closed,
to prevent injuries from hot splashing water.
26. Make sure that all users, especially children, are aware of the
danger of injury from escaping
steam or hot splashing water. Risk
of burns!
27. The surface of the cover may
become hot during operation.
Therefore always use the handles
of the cover.
28. Do not move the appliance as long
as it is in operation, to prevent
scalding from splashing water.
29. Do not use the appliance with
accessories of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent damage.
30. Disconnect the appliance from the
wall socket after use and prior to
cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the wall socket.
31. Let the appliance cool off before
cleaning it.
32. Never open the casing of the apppliance. There is danger of electric
shock.
33. Check the appliance, the wall
socket and the lead cable regularly
for wear or damage. In case the
lead cable or other parts appear
damaged, please send the appliance or the base to our after sales
service for inspection and repair.
Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious risks for the user and
void the warranty.
34. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
