Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist als Teil des Gerätes zu betrachten.
Lesen Sie vor der Benutzung des Geräts aufmerksam die Sicherheitshinweise und die Bedienungsanleitung. Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung für die erneute Verwendung zu einem späteren
Zeitpunkt auf. Bei Verkauf oder Weitergabe des Gerätes ist die Bedienungsanleitung an jeden nachfolgenden Besitzer/Benutzer des Produkts weiterzugeben.
Allgemeine Warnhinweise
GEFAHR!
Dieses Gerät beinhaltet Elektronikteile, die über eine Stromquelle (Batterien) betrieben werden. Lassen
Sie Kinder beim Umgang mit dem Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt! Die Nutzung darf nur wie in der Anleitung
beschrieben erfolgen, andernfalls besteht GEFAHR eines STROMSCHLAGS!
Kinder sollten das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht benutzen. Verpackungsmaterialien (Plastiktüten, Gummibänder, etc.) von Kindern fernhalten! Es besteht ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!
Batterien gehören nicht in Kinderhände! Ausgelaufene Batteriesäure kann zu Verätzungen führen! Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt von Batteriesäure mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie bei Kontakt
mit der Säure die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich klarem Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt auf.
VORSICHT!
Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen hohen Temperaturen aus. Benutzen Sie nur die empfohlenen Batterien.
Gerät und Batterien nicht kurzschließen oder ins Feuer werfen! Durch übermäßige Hitze und unsachgemäße Handhabung können Kurzschlüsse, Brände und sogar Explosionen ausgelöst werden!
HINWEIS!
Bauen Sie das Gerät nicht auseinander! Wenden Sie sich im Falle eines Defekts bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Er nimmt mit dem Service-Center Kontakt auf und kann das Gerät ggf. zwecks Reparatur einschicken.
Ersetzen Sie schwache oder verbrauchte Batterien immer durch einen komplett neuen Satz Batterien
mit voller Kapazität. Verwenden Sie keine Batterien von unterschiedlichen Marken, Typen oder unterschiedlich hoher Kapazität. Batterien sollten aus dem Gerät entfernt werden, wenn es längere Zeit nicht
benutzt wird!

WAS SIE VOR INBETRIEBNAHME WISSEN SOLLTEN
Ihre Meteotime-Wetterstation unterscheidet sich von herkömmlichen Wetterstationen, die nur die
vorherrschende Wetterlage messen. Der Datensatz dieser Wetterstation basiert auf METEOTIME, der
Tag für Tag von professionellen Meteorologen mit Hilfe modernster Instrumente erarbeitet wird.
Die Meteotime-Wetterstation ist so aufgebaut, dass sie das codierte METEOTIME-Signal, das die
Wetterinformation enthält, empfangen kann. Das Signal samt Information wird von der DCF, einer
Sendestation für funkgesteuerte Uhren (Standort Deutschland) ausgestrahlt. Aus diesem Grund ist Ihre
Meteotime-Wetterstation auch eine funkgesteuerte Uhr mit allen hierfür bekannten Vorteilen, wie z. B.
immer exakter Zeitanzeige oder automatischer Umstellung von Winter- zu Sommerzeit und umgekehrt.
Sie können Wettervorhersagen für 60 meteorologische Regionen in Europa und einen Zeitraum von
maximal 4 Tagen (heute bis überübermorgen) empfangen und bekommen Vorhersagen für weitere 30
Regionen und 2 Tage angeboten.
WAS IST FÜR EINEN GUTEN EMPFANG NÖTIG?
Ähnlich wie bei den drahtlosen Signalen des Mobiltelefonnetztes oder der Radio- und Fernsehsender
kann es vorkommen, dass die Meteotime-Wetterstationen die Signale nicht immer und überall empfangen können. Im Folgenden geben wir Ihnen ein paar Tipps, die sie auf jeden Fall befolgen sollten,
um ein richtiges Funktionieren des Instruments sicherzustellen:
Sehr wichtig ist der Aufstellplatz der Meteotime-Wetterstation. Daher ist sie mit einer innovativen
Testfunktion ([TEST]-Taste) versehen, mit der Sie die Empfangsqualität in Ihrer Umgebung prüfen und
das Instrument dort platzieren können, wo die besten Bedingungen herrschen.
Versuchen Sie den Empfang herzustellen, indem Sie Ihre Meteotime-Wetterstation wie in der Anleitung
beschrieben testen. Dazu schalten Sie bitte in dem Raum, wo Sie das Instrument einrichten möchten,
alle potenziellen Störquellen (z. B. Fernsehgerät) aus. Dann bringen Sie die Meteotime-Wetterstation
an den Ort und in die Ausrichtung, die Sie wünschen, jedoch mindestens 1 Meter von potenziellen
Störquellen entfernt.
Beachten Sie die Symbole GUTER EMPFANG oder SCHLECHTER EMPFANG auf der Anzeige. Wenn
Sie die richtige Platzierung für GUTEN EMPFANG gefunden haben, lassen Sie die MeteotimeWetterstation so stehen. Sie stellt nun innerhalb einiger Minuten ihre Daten aus dem Funkuhrsignal zusammen und das Datum erscheint. Die Übertragung des viel größeren Datensatzes der
Wettervorhersagen für alle Regionen und Tage benötigt wesentlich mehr Zeit. Es kann bis zu 24
Stunden nach der Inbetriebnahme dauern, bis der Empfang dieser Daten komplett ist.

POTENZIELLE STÖRQUELLEN
Mit allen Meteotime-Wetterstationen sind Messungen durchzuführen, um den bestmöglichen Empfang
zu erreichen. DCF ist ein Langwellensender mit großer Reichweite (ungefähr 1500 km). Wie es nun
einmal bei Langwellensendern der Fall ist, können Störungen auftreten, die oft folgende Ursachen
haben:
• In Gebäuden mit nennenswerten Beton- oder Metallteilen sowie elektrischen Anlagen können Sie
Empfangsprobleme bekommen (z. B. in Einkaufszentren oder bei Ausstellungsveranstaltungen).
• Elektronische Anlagen (Fernsehgeräte, Computer, Haushaltsgeräte usw.) oder auch Transformatoren,
Stromleitungen, Radiosender und elektrische Eisenbahnzüge sind potenzielle Störquellen.
• Atmosphärische Störungen können die Radiowellen beeinflussen.
• Die Entfernung zur Sendestation sowie die geographischen Gegebenheiten (Berge usw.) beeinflussen ebenfalls den Empfang. Wegen ihrer großen Entfernung zur Sendestation sind Gebiete wie
Süditalien oder Nordskandinavien kritisch.
• Sogenannte Funklöcher, die den Empfang unmöglich machen, können überall auftreten.
• In ländlichen Gebieten gibt es geringere Störungen als in dicht bebauten Stadtgebieten.
• Nachts sind Störquellen weniger aktiv, folglich ist der Empfang dann besser als am Tage.
• Schwache Batterien im Gerät vermindern die Empfangsqualität.
DATENÜBERTRAGUNG
METEOTIME sendet die Daten während präzise definierter Zeitfenster in Anlehnung an die UTC (koordinierte Weltzeit). Die in Mitteleuropa verwendete Mitteleuropäische (Winter-)Zeit ist UTC + 1 Stunde, die
Mitteleuropäische Sommerzeit UTC + 2 Stunden; in Großbritannien und Portugal gilt als Winterzeit die
UTC, als Sommerzeit UTC + 1 Stunde.

Falls der Empfang während der oben genannten Zeitfenster vollständig oder zeitweise gestört oder
zusammengebrochen ist, fehlen die entsprechenden Vorhersagen ganz oder teilweise.
Diese Verpackung beinhaltet die Wetterstation und einen Thermometer-Sensor für den Außenbereich.
Die Wetterstation verfügt über einen eingebauten Thermometer-Sensor, der zur Messung der Innentemperatur dient, sowie einen kabellosen Außensensor zur Messung der Außentemperatur.

die Alarmzeit, Städte und Benachrichtigungen
bei kritischen Wetterlagen.

• Wechsel zwischen den Messungen der Temperatur Kanäle 1, 2 und 3.
• Drücken Sie diese Taste 3 Sekunden lang, um in den automatischen Kreislaufanzeigemodus
zu wechseln.

INBETRIEBNAHME
• Legen Sie 2x AA Batterien in die Wetterstation und 2x AAA Batterien in den Außensensor ein.
• Die Wetterstation scannt automatisch nach dem Funkuhr-Signal und dem Meteotime-Signal.
Achtung! Bei Neuinbetriebnahme
und Batteriewechsel:
Legen Sie zuerst die Batterien der

Batterien des Außensensors!
• Die Uhrzeit und das Datum werden in wenigen Minuten angezeigt. Es gibt eine große Menge von
meteorologischen Informationen für alle Regionen und für alle Tage, deswegen benötigt das Gerät
ca. 24 Stunden ab dem Zeitpunkt der Anfangseinstellung für den vollständigen Empfang aller Daten.
• Nach dem Empfang von Uhrzeit und Datum, erscheint auf der Anzeige „LAND AUSWÄHLEN“ und
dann „
“ als Standardeinstellung im Informationsfenster. Um das Land und die Stadt
zu ändern, beachten Sie die Informationen im Abschnitt „Auswahl des Landes und der Stadt“.
• Ist die Wetterstation in der Lage ein Meteotime-Signal zu empfangen, so wird das MeteotimeSymbol
in der zweiten Anzeigereihe angezeigt, ansonsten bleibt das leere Symbol

Verändert sich das Meteotime-Symbol zu
bedeutet dies, dass es potenzielle Störquellen in der Nähe
der Wetterstation gibt. Störquellen können durch elektronische Geräte wie Fernsehgeräten, Computer,
Haushaltsgeräte, etc. kommen. Sie können auch durch Beton, Metall oder elektrischen Geräten in dem
Gebäude verursacht werden. Auch kann eine zu große Entfernung zum nächsten Funkuhrturm die
Ursache sein.
Sie können die TEST-Funktion nutzen, um eine bessere Position zu finden.
• Drücken Sie die [TEST] Taste, zeigt das Informationsfenster die Meldung EMPF. TEST (SCAN) an.
• Nehmen Sie die Wetterstation und suchen Sie einen geeigneten Standort.
• blinkt: Der Test funktioniert und der Meteotime-Empfang ist gut. Sie können das Gerät in dieser Position belassen.
blinkt: Der Test funktioniert aber der Meteotime-Empfang ist schwach. Sie müssen weiterhin nach einer besseren Position suchen.
• Der Test dauert ca. 1 Minute. Sie können den Test mit der [TEST] Taste starten und auch jederzeit den Test durch Drücken der TEST-Taste beenden.
• EMPF. TEST: die Empfangsqualität während des Empfangstest wird von 1 (=sehr schlecht) bis 9 (sehr gut) dargestellt.

• Nach Einlegen der Batterien, sucht die Wetterstation sowohl das Funksignal für die Zeitanzeige als
auch das Meteotime-Signal. Nach erfolgreichem Empfang des Meteotime-Signals zeigt das Informationsfenster auf der Anzeige standardmäßig die Stadt “

• Sie können die [SET] Taste nutzen, um zwischen der Anzeige von der Stadt, dem Wochentagsalarm,
Einzelalarm oder Vor-Alarm, Zeit & Datum zu wechseln.

AKTIVIERUNG VON FAVORITEN
Sobald Sie Ihre Stadt eingestellt haben, wie oben beschrieben, können Sie noch weitere Städte für
einen erleichterten Zugriff speichern. Anstatt die Eingabe mit der [SET] Taste zu beenden, können Sie
wie folgt fortfahren:
• Wenn ‚Frankfurt am Main‘ Ihre Auswahl als eine Ihrer Lieblings-Städte ist, drücken Sie die [TEST] Taste
um zu bestätigen. Ein √ wird auf Ihrer gewählten Stadt angezeigt werden und diese wird in Ihrem
persönlichen Speicherplatz hinterlegt werden.
• Jetzt können Sie mit der [ ▲ ] oder [ ▼ ] Taste andere Städte aus dem selben Land auswählen.
Drücken Sie dann die [TEST] Taste, um zu bestätigen.
• Wenn Sie Städte in verschiedenen Ländern auswählen möchten, dann müssen Sie die Einstellungen
mit der [SET] Taste beenden und wieder zurück, wie oben, um das Land wie vorhin beschrieben zu
ändern.
Sie können bis zu fünf Städte als Favoriten wählen. Wenn Sie versuchen mehr Städte hinzuzufügen,
dann wird das Informationsfenster
(SPEICHER VOLL) anzeigen. Wenn die Einstellung abgeschlossen ist, drücken Sie die [SET] Taste, um zu bestätigen und die Einstellung zu beenden.
ACHTUNG: Wenn Sie die Batterien zum ersten Mal einlegen und Sie die Auswahl der Stadt
überspringen wird die Voreinstellung „Frankfurt am Main“ angezeigt.
ANZEIGE DER FAVORITEN
Wenn Sie mehr als eine Stadt als Favorit ausgewählt haben, z. B. Frankfurt am Main, Paris und Stockholm, dann können Sie durch drücken der [ ▼ ] Taste durch diese Städte blättern, wenn das Informationsfenster „CITY NAME“ zeigt (Drücken Sie die [SET] Taste, bis Sie den Namen der Stadt sehen).
LÖSCHUNG VON STÄDTEN AUS DER FAVORITENLISTE
• Drücken Sie [SET] für 3 Sekunden, “

• Wiederholen Sie dies, wenn Sie mehr als eine Stadt aus der Liste löschen möchten.
• Jetzt können Sie auch mit der [ ▲ ] oder [ ▼ ] Taste eine weitere Stadt für ihre Favoriten auswählen.

• Drücken Sie die [SET] Taste für 3 Sekunden bis im Informationsfenster “

This device contains electronic components which operate via a power source (batteries). Only use the
device as described in the manual, otherwise you run the risk of an electric shock.

Keep batteries out of the reach of children! Leaking battery acid can lead to chemical burns. Avoid contact of battery acid with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact, rinse the affected
region immediately with a plenty of water and seek medical attention.

MUST READ BEFORE GETTING STARTED
Your Meteotime weather station is different to traditional weather stations, which measure the prevailing conditions only. The data of this weather station is based on the METEOTIME, which is worked out
on a daily basis by highly professional meteorologists using state-of-art instruments.
The Metotime weather station is engineered in such a way that it is able to receive the coded METEOTIME signal containing the weather information. The information is broadcasted via the DCF station for
radio-controlled clocks (located in Germany). For this reason, your Meteotime weather station is also
a radio-controlled clock with all the known advantages, such as always showing the exact time, and
automatic transition to daylight saving time in winter and summer.
You are able to receive weather forecasts for 60 meteorological regions within Europe for up to 4 days
in advance, and offer a 2-day-advance forecast for an additional 30 regions.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET GOOD RECEPTION?
Similar to wireless signals like the mobile phone network or Radio/TV broadcasts, it is possible that
Meteotime weather stations do not receive signals all the time and everywhere. The following are
some tips you should follow by all means to make sure that your device works properly:
The location for Meteotime weather station is very important. For this reason we have equipped all
of them with an innovation test function (the [TEST] button) which enables you to test the quality of
reception in your environment and to place the device where the best conditions prevail.
Try your reception by testing your Meteotime weather station as stated in the manual. To do this, turn
on all the potential sources of interference (for example, a TV set in the room you want to install the
device. Then put the Meteotime weather station in the place and direction you want it to be, but always
at least one meter within the potential source of interference.
Watch the symbol GOOD RECEPTION or BAD RECEPTION on the display. Once you have found the
right location for GOOD RECEPTION, you may leave the Meteotime weather station there. It will
collect its data by a radio-controlled signal. Within a few minutes time, the date will appear.
However, the transfer of very large amount of data (forecast for all regions and days) will take
much longer. To completely receive all data, it will take up to 24 hours from the time of the
initial setup.

POTENTIAL SOURCES of INTERFERENCE
With all Meteotime weather stations, we should take measures to provide best possible radio reception. DCF is a long wave station with a broad reach (approximately 1500 km). However, as with a long
wave radio station, interference may occur which is often caused by the following influences:

In buildings with lots of concrete, metal parts, and the electrical equipment you may get
reception problems (for example, in shopping centers and at exhibitions).
Electronic equipment such as TVs, computers, household machines, etc., or transformers,
power lines, radio transmitters, and trains are potential sources of interference.
Atmospheric influences might affect the radio waves.
The distance from the station, and also the geographic conditions (mountains, etc.) also
affect the reception. Due to their great distance from the station, areas like Southern Italy
or Northern Scandinavia are critical.
So-called (dead-spots) which make reception impossible can appear everywhere
There is less interference in rural area than in heavily built-up urban ones.
On principle at night the sources of interference are less active, consequently reception is
better than during the day.
Weak batteries in the device will lower the quality of reception.

In the event the Meteotime icon changes to
, that means there are potential sources of interference on the unit. The sources of interference may come from electronic equipment such as TV-sets,
computers, household machines etc. It may also be due to lots of concrete, metal parts and electrical
equipment in the building. Your living area can also be the problem, if it is too far away from the radiocontrolled clock tower.
You are able to use the TEST-function to look for a better location.
• If you press the [TEST] button, the information window will display “SCAN”.
• Pick up the unit and find a better location.

ACTIVATE FAVOURITES
Once you have set your city as described above, you may select more cities for easier access. Instead
of accepting the setting with the [SET] button, you can continue as follows:
• If ‘Frankfurt am Main’ is your selection as one of your favorite cities, then press the [TEST] button to
confirm. A √ will be shown on top of your selected city, and it will be stored into your personal memory
list.
• Now, you may press the [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] button to select more cities in the same country, and then
press the [TEST] button again to add those too.
• If you wish to select cities from different countries, you have to exit the setting with [SET] and reenter again as, described above, in order to change the country.
You may select a maximum of five cities as favourites. If you try to add more than five cities,

REMARK: If you have skipped the city selection the first time you have powered up the unit, the
product will select Frankfurt am Main by default as your selected city.

À LIRE AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
Votre station météo Meteotime est différente des stations météo traditionnelles qui captent uniquement les conditions dominantes. Les données de cette station météo sont basées sur le METEOTIME
qui est utilisé par des météorologistes extrêmement professionnels qui se servent d’instruments à la
pointe de la technologie.
La station météo Meteotime a été conçue d’une telle façon qu’elle peut recevoir les signaux codés de
Meteotime qui contiennent les informations sur le temps. Les informations sont diffusées via le station
pour les horloges atomiques DCF (situées en Allemagne). Pour cette raison, votre station météo Meteotime est également atomique avec tous ses avantages bien connus : est toujours à l’heure exacte et
s’ajuste automatiquement aux changement d’heure (hiver/été).
Vous pouvez recevoir les prévisions météo à 4 jours pour 60 régions météorologiques en Europe et à 2
jours pour 30 régions supplémentaires.
COMMENT AVOIR UNE BONNE RÉCEPTION ?
Tout comme pour les signaux sans fil (réseaux téléphone portable ou diffusion radio/TV), il est possible
que votre station météo Meteotime ne reçoive pas toujours les signaux. Nous vous conseillons de
suivre les conseils suivants pour être certain que votre appareil fonctionne correctement :
L’emplacement de votre station météo Meteotime est très important. Pour cette raison, nous avons
équipé toutes les stations météo avec une fonction test innovante (la touche TEST) qui vous permet
de tester la qualité de réception de votre environnement et de placer votre appareil dans le meilleur
endroit.
Testez la réception de votre station météo Meteotime en suivant les conseils du manuel. Pour le test,
dans la pièce où vous souhaitez mettre l’appareil, allumez toutes les sources potentielles d’interférences (par exemple une télévision). Puis placez la station météo Meteotime à l’endroit et dans la
direction que vous souhaitez, mais toujours à plus d’un mètre de la source potentielle d’interférences.
Regardez le symbole que vous obtenez sur l’écran : GOOD RECEPTION (bonne réception) ou BAD
RECEPTION (mauvaise réception). Une fois que vous avez trouvé le bon emplacement pour la
GOOD RECEPTION, vous laissez votre station météo Meteotime à cet endroit-là, les données
seront récupérées par un signal radio-commandé. En quelques minutes la date apparaîtra.
Cependant, le transfert de toutes les données (prévisions pour toutes les régions et tous les
jours) prendra beaucoup plus de temps. La réception complète de toutes les données peut
prendre plus de 24 heures.

POTENTIAL SOURCES of INTERFERENCE
Nous avons pris les mesures nécessaires pour que toutes les stations météo Meteotime aient une
excellente réception. Les grandes ondes HBG et DCF ont des zones de diffusion (par exemple environ
1500 km pour la station DCF). Cependant, comme pour les stations grandes ondes, des interférences
peuvent être occasionnées, souvent causées par ces éléments :
• Vous pouvez avoir des problèmes de réception dans les bâtiments avec beaucoup de béton, morceaux de métal, équipements électriques (par exemple dans les centres commerciaux ou les foires).
• Les équipements électroniques tels que les télévisions, ordinateurs, appareils ménagers, etc…
ou des transformateurs, lignes électriques, transmetteurs radio, et les trains sont des sources
potentielles d’interférence.
• Les conditions atmosphériques peuvent affecter les ondes radio.
• La distance entre votre domicile et la station, ainsi que la géographie qui vous entoure (montagnes,
etc…) affectent également la réception. Étant donnée la trop grande distance qui les sépare de la
station, les régions telles que le Sud de l’Italie ou le Nord de la Scandinavie ne pourront pas capter
le signal.

Dans le cas où le symbole Meteotime change et devient
, cela signifie qu’il y a des sources
potentielles d’interférences. Ces sources d’interférences peuvent provenir d’équipements électroniques
tels que téléviseurs, ordinateurs, appareils ménagers, etc. Elles peuvent aussi être dues à des murs en
béton, à des pièces métalliques ou tout autre équipement électrique au sein d’un même bâtiment. Il est
également possible que votre habitation soit trop éloignée de l’antenne DCF, située à Francfort.
La fonction TEST vous permet de trouver le meilleur endroit de réception pour votre station :
• Appuyez sur la touche [TEST], « SCAN » apparaît dans la fenêtre d’information (“TEST_REC” en français).
• Placez la station météo à l’endroit où vous souhaitez tester la réception.
• clignote : le test est en cours et le signal de réception Meteotime est bon. Vous pouvez laisser l’appareil à cet endroit.

à 9 (très bien).
CHOIX DE L’AFFICHAGE
• Après avoir inséré les piles, la station météo va rechercher le signal de l’heure radio-pilotée ainsi
que le signal Meteotime. Une fois que le signal Meteotime a bien été réceptionné, la ville par défaut
sera affichée «

• Des pressions successive sur la touche [SET] vous permettront d’alterner entre l’affichage de la
ville sélectionnée, de l’alarme quotidienne, alarme ponctuelle, pré-alarme, heure et la date.

• Si vous désirez sélectionner Francfort comme une de vos villes préférées, appuyez sur la touche
[TEST] pour confirmer votre choix. √ s’affichera à côté de la ville choisie «

Informazioni sul presente manuale
Questo manuale d’uso va considerato parte integrante dell’apparecchio.
Prima di usare l’apparecchio, leggere con attenzione le indicazioni di sicurezza e il manuale d’uso.
Conservare il manuale d’uso per poterlo utilizzare di nuovo in un secondo momento. Se si vende o
si cede l’apparecchio, consegnare il manuale d’uso ad ogni successivo possessore/utilizzatore del
prodotto.
Avvertenze di sicurezza generali
PERICOLO!
Questo apparecchio contiene componenti elettronici azionati da una sorgente di corrente (batterie). Non
consentire ai bambini di utilizzare l‘apparecchio senza supervisione! L’utilizzo deve avvenire soltanto
conformemente a quanto descritto nella guida, in caso contrario esiste il PERICOLO di SCOSSA ELETTRICA!
I bambini possono utilizzare l’apparecchio soltanto sotto la vigilanza di un adulto. Tenere i materiali di
imballaggio (sacchetti di plastica, elastici, ecc.) lontano dai bambini! PERICOLO DI SOFFOCAMENTO!
Le batterie non devono essere manipolate dai bambini! La fuoriuscita dell’acido della batteria può causare corrosione! Evitare che l’acido della batteria entri in contatto con pelle, occhi e mucose. In caso
di contatto con l’acido, sciacquare immediatamente le parti interessate con abbondante acqua pulita e
rivolgersi ad un medico.
ATTENZIONE!
Non esporre l’apparecchio a temperature elevate. Utilizzare esclusivamente le batterie consigliate. Non
cortocircuitare o buttare nel fuoco l‘apparecchio e le batterie! Un surriscaldamento oppure un utilizzo
non conforme può provocare cortocircuiti, incendi e persino esplosioni!
NOTA!
Non smontare l’apparecchio! In caso di guasto, rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore specializzato. Egli provvederà a contattare il centro di assistenza e se necessario a spedire l’apparecchio in riparazione.
Sostituire le batterie scariche o usate sempre con una serie di batterie nuove completamente cariche.
Non utilizzare batterie di marche, tipi o livelli di carica diversi. Togliere le batterie dall’apparecchio nel
caso non venga utilizzato per un periodo prolungato!

LEGGERE ATTENTAMENTE PRIMA DI METTERE IN FUNZIONE
La Stazione Meteotime è diversa dalle tradizionali stazioni in grado di misurare solo le condizioni
meteorologiche prevalenti, i dati della presente stazione si basano infatti sul METEOTIME, calcolato
quotidianamente da meterologi prefessionisti utilizzando strumenti all’avanguardia.
La Stazione Meteotime è costruita in modo da ricevere i segnali codificati METEOTIME che contengono
le previsioni meteorologiche. Le previsioni sono trasmesse attraverso DCF stazione per orologi (situati
in Germania). Per questa ragione, la Stazione Meteotime è anche un orologio radiocontrollato con tutti
i vantaggi che un orologio radiocontrollato può avere, come mostrare sempre l’ora esatta, e applicare
automaticamente il cambiamento da ora solare a ora legale.
La stazione può ricevere previsioni meteorologiche per 60 regioni meteorologiche all’interno dell’Europa con 4 giorni d’anticipo e previsioni meteorologiche con 2 giorni d’anticipo per 30 ulteriori regioni.
DI COSA SI NECESSITA PER AVERE UN’OTTIMA RICEZIONE?
Come per i segnali wireless delle reti per i telefoni cellulari o la Radio/le trasmissioni televisive, è
pssibile che la Stazione Meteotime non riceva sempre e ovunque i segnali. Seguire quanto riportato
sotto per assicurarsi che l’apparecchio funzioni correttamente:
Il luogo dove installare la Stazione Meteotime è molto importante. Per questa ragione le stazioni
sono state dotate di un’innovativa funzione di test (il tasto TEST) che permette di testare la qualità
della ricezione nell’ambiente dove la stazione viene posta e di porre l’apparecchio dove prevalga una
migliore ricettività.
Testare la ricettività della Stazione Meteotime come indicato nel manuale. Accendere per esempio
tutte le potenziali fonti di interferenza (per esempio un televisore) nella stanza dove si vuole installare
l’apparecchio. Quindi installare la Stazione Meteotime dove desiderato, ma ad almeno un metro dalla
potenziale fonte di interferenza.
Monitorare i simboli GOOD RECEPTION (Ricezione Buona) e BAD RECEPTION (Ricezione Scarsa) sul display. Quando il simbolo GOOD RECEPTION (Ricezione Buona) viene visualizzato sul
display, installare la Stazione Meteotime, la stazione raccoglierà i dati via segnale radiocontrollato. Dopo qualche minuto compariranno ora e data. Comunque, si impiegherà più tempo
per il trasferimento di una grande quantità di dati (previsioni per tutte le regioni e i giorni). Si
impiegheranno fino a 24 ore per ricevere completamente tutti i dati dal momento della prima
installazione.

POTENZIALI FONTI DI INTERFERENZE
Con tutte le Stazioni Meteotime, si dovrà fare il possibile per ottenere la migliore ricezione radio. Le
DCF è Stazione a onda lunga con un’ampio raggio di raggiungimento (per esempio circa 1500 km).
Comunque, come per una stazione radio a onda lunga, si potranno verificare delle interferenze spesso
causate dalle seguenti influenze:
• In edifici con cemento, parti metalliche e attrezzature elettriche si potranno avere dei problemi
di ricezione (per esempio nei centri commerciali e in centri per fiere e mostre).
• Attrezzature elettroniche come televisori, computer, elettrodomestici, ecc., o trasformatori, linee
dell’elettricità, radio trasmettitori e treni sono potenziali fonti di interferenze.
• Agenti atmosferici potranno influire sulle onde radio.
• Influiscono sull’apparecchio anche la distanza dalla stazione e le condizioni geografiche (montagne,
ecc.). A causa della loro grande distanza dalla stazione, zone come l’Italia Meridionale o la Scandinavia del Nord sono zone critiche.
• Potranno verificarsi ovunque punti (morti) dove la ricezione è impossibile.
• Vi sono meno interferenze in zone rurali che in zone urbanizzate.
• Le fonti di intereferenze sono meno attive di notte, di conseguenza la ricezione è migliore durante il
giorno.
• La presenza di batterie scariche nell’apparecchio diminuirà la qualità della ricezione.

e il Portogallo durante l’inverno e UTC+1 durante l’estate).

Nel caso in cui l‘icone Meteotime cambia in

interferenza con l‘unità. Le fonti di interferenza possono provenire da dispositivi elettronici come
TV-set, computer, apparecchi domestici ecc. Possono essere causate anche da molto cemento, parti
metalliche o dispositivi elettronici nell‘edificio. Possono essere causate anche dall‘area dell‘abitazione
che è molto lontana dalla torre dell‘orologio radiocontrollato.
Potete utilizzare la funzione TEST per individuare una posizione migliore.

• Se ‘Frankfurt am Main’ è la vostra selezione come una delle vostre città preferite, allora premere
[TEST] per confermare. Un √ verrà mostrato sopra la vostra città selezionata, e questa verrà memorizzata nella vostra promemoria personale.
• Ora potete premere [ ▲ ] o [ ▼ ] per selezionare altre città dello stesso paese, e poi premere
[TEST] per selezionare.
• Se si desidera selezionare città di diversi paesi, allora dovete uscire dalle impostazioni con [SET] e
rientrare nuovamente come descritto in precedenza per cambiare il paese.
Potete selezionare al massimo CINQUE città come preferiti. Se volete aggiungere più città, allora

Din Meteotime-vejrstation er ikke som almindelige vejrstationer, der kun måler den fremherskende
vejrsituation. Datasættet bag denne vejrstation er baseret på METEOTIME, som bearbejdes dag for dag
af professionelle meteorologer under anvendelse af de mest moderne måleinstrumenter.
Meteotime-vejrstationen er designet til at modtage det kodede METEOTIME-signal, som indeholder
vejrinformationerne. Signalet og informationerne transmitteres fra DCF, som er en sendestation til
radiostyrede ure (befinder sig i Tyskland). Derfor er din Meteotime-vejrstation ligeledes et radiostyret
ur med alle de velkendte fordele såsom en altid præcis klokkeslætsvisning og automatisk skift mellem
sommertid og normaltid.
Du kan modtage vejrudsigter for 60 meteorologiske regioner i Europa for et tidsrum på op til 4 dage
(fra i dag til dagen efter i overmorgen) og får tilbudt vejrudsigter fra yderligere 30 regioner for 2 dage.
HVORDAN SIKRES GOD MODTAGELSE?
Som hos de trådløse signaler i mobiltelefonnetværket eller hos radio- og TV-modtagere kan det ske,
at Meteotime-vejrstationen ikke kan modtage signalerne altid og overalt. Her kommer et par gode råd,
som du under alle omstændigheder bør følge for at sikre, at instrumentet fungerer korrekt:
Meteotime-vejrstationens placering er yderst vigtig. Derfor er den udstyret med en innovativ testfunktion ([TEST]-knappen), som du kan bruge til at tjekke modtagelseskvaliteten i dit område for herefter at
kunne placere instrumentet på det mest optimale sted.
Forsøg at oprette modtagelse ved at teste din Meteotime-vejrstation som beskrevet i brugsanvisningen. I den forbindelse skal du slukke for alle potentielle forstyrrelseskilder (f.eks. TV) i det rum, hvor
du ønsker at placere instrumentet. Herefter placeres Meteotime-vejrstation det ønskede sted og i den
ønskede retning, som skal være mindst 1 meter fra potentielle forstyrrelseskilder.
Vær opmærksom på symbolerne GOD MODTAGELSE eller DÅRLIG MODTAGELSE på skærmen.
Når du har fundet den bedste placering til GOD MODTAGELSE, skal du lade Meteotime-vejrstationen stå på det sted. Inden for et par minutter indhenter vejrstationen data fra ur-radiosignalet,
og datoen vises. Transmissionen af det meget større datasæt til vejrudsigter for alle regioner og
dage tager væsentligt længere tid. Det kan tage op til 24 timer fra ibrugtagning, til modtagelsen
af disse data er fuldført.

POTENTIELLE FORSTYRRELSESKILDER
For alle Meteotime-vejrstationer gælder det, at der skal udføres forskellige målinger for at opnå den
bedst mulige modtagelse. DCF er en langbølgesender med stor rækkevidde (ca. 1.500 km). Som det
er tilfældet hos alle langbølgesendere kan der dog forekomme forstyrrelser, som ofte forårsages af
følgende:
• I bygninger med større beton- eller metalandele samt elektriske anlæg kan der forekomme modtagelsesforstyrrelser (f.eks. i indkøbscentre eller ved messer).
• Elektroniske anlæg (TV’er, computere, husholdningsapparater osv.), samt transformatorer, strømkabler, radiosendere og elektriske tog, udgør ligeledes en potentiel forstyrrelseskilde.
• Atmosfæriske forstyrrelser kan påvirke radiobølgerne.
• Afstanden til sendestationen samt de geografiske forhold (bjerge osv.) påvirker ligeledes modtagelsen. På grund af den store afstand til sendestationen er områder såsom det sydlige Italien eller det
nordlige Skandinavien kritiske.
• Såkaldte dødzoner, der gør modtagelsen umulig, kan forekomme overalt.
• På landet er der færre forstyrrelser end i tæt bebyggede byområder.
• Om natten er forstyrrelseskilderne ikke så aktive, og derfor er modtagelsen bedre om natten end om
dagen.
• Svage batterier i apparatet reducerer modtagelseskvaliteten.
DATAOVERFØRSEL
METEOTIME sender dataene i præcist definerede tidsrum baseret på UTC (standardtidsangivelse). Den
mellemeuropæiske (normal-) tid er UTC + 1 time, den mellemeuropæiske sommertid er UTC + 2 timer,
mens Storbritannien og Portugal anvender UTC som normaltid og UTC + 1 time som sommertid.

Hvis Meteotime-symbolet ændrer sig til
