General Information
This manual contains all the important information about the function, operation, setting
as well as the troubleshooting and repair of the AQUANTA CONTROL II
(Software Version = V2.00).
NOTE
The German sections of this manual constitute the ORIGINAL OPERATING MANUAL and
take legal precedence.
All other languages are translations of the ORIGINAL OPERATING MANUAL.
The safety Notes and emphases must be observed at all times!
The AQUANTA CONTROL II is a fully programmable measuring and control unit for
detergent, additive and two rinse aid pumps.
In software version V2.00 and above, an external switch can be used to switch between two
detergent metering pumps, e.g. detergent 1 alkaline and detergent 2 acidic.
The apparatus contains an operating data and alarm memory as well as an interface
(RS485) for connecting to a PC.

The apparatus is designed for use in commercial crate washers with automatic crate
transport.
In connection with the “AquantaGet“ (Version ≥ V2.00) PC software it is possible to
transmit operating, alarm and configuration data with parameter settings.

The visualization of operating states and measured values on a PC is possible in

connection with the “Lab View” (Version ≥ V2.00) PC visualization software.
The unit is set to Aquanta Basic (OEM) on delivery.
In conjunction with the PC software AquantaGet (version ≥V2.00), Aquanta Basic can only
be used to read the configuration data. No other data transfers are possible.
Unrestricted data transfer is only available with Aquanta Control.
The only way to upgrade to Aquanta Control in conjunction with the PC software
AquantaGet (version ≥ V2.00) is by changing the configuration of the basic settings.
1.2
Warranty Scope
The manufacturer provides a warranty concerning operational safety, reliability, and capacity
of the metering unit only if the following conditions apply:
• Assembly, installation, connection, configuration, maintenance, and repair are carried out
by authorized and trained service technicians.
• The metering unit must be used in accordance with the instructions of the technical
manual.
• Only original spare parts are used for repairs.
• Only use the approved ECOLAB products.
The general warranty and service terms and conditions of the company ECOLAB
Engineering GmbH are always applicable as well.
1.3
Transport Damages
Do not install the equipment if transport damage is detected after unpacking the unit.
