GB 10.3 Control cable preparations, network Danger to life from electric shock. DANGER Switch off the mains fuse at the fuse box when carrying out any work on the ventilation unit’s electrical equipment. Position a visible warning notice to avoid the unit being accidentally switched back on. See Chapter 10.8 for details of the electrical connections of the ventilation unit(s) and room air control(s). Install recessed-mounted boxes for UP room air control(s). These should be supplied by the customer. Networking example 54 Lay the control cables, if possible in empty ducting, to the locations where the ventilation unit(s) and room air control(s) are to be installed. Lay the power cable to the location(s) where the ventilation unit(s) are to be installed. Construction of a network ● Suitable installation locations for room air control(s) are, for example, central positions in the room(s) to be ventilated. Observe the maximum cable length of 50 m for the whole network. ● Up to 9 ventilation units and up to 4 room air controls of one type can be networked, ● Only original accessories, such as WRG 35-AAD junction boxes, WRG 35 TAK 5 control cables or WRG 35 TAK 10 should be used.
