conditions(weather,suspensionunit,load,etc.)andbe
storedcarefully.
• Mobileoperatingequipmentforliftingloadsmustbeused
sothatthestabilityoftheoperatingequipmentisguaranteedduringuse.
• Duringtheuseofmobileoperatingequipmentforlifting
non-guidedloads,takemeasurestopreventthemfrom
tippingover,shifting,sliding,etc.
• Takemeasurestopreventanyonestandingundersuspendedloads.Furthermore,itisprohibitedtomovesuspendedloadsoverworkingareasoccupiedbypeople.

BEWARE of moisture!
Ingress of moisture into the cable will result in
damage to the cable and the lifting unit. Never immerse the cable end in a liquid, and make sure the
cable end is protected against the ingress of moisture. Strands that are not used must be insulated!

directivesandregulations,suchasDINandANSI.

2.2.
Electrical work
General safety
• Theliftingunitmustbeswitchedoffbeforeanyworkis
performed(installation,dismantling,maintenance,installation).Theliftingunitmustbedisconnectedfromthe
electricitynetworkandsecuredagainstreactivation.All
rotatingpartsmusthavecometoastandstill.
• Thepersonoperatingtheswitchgearmustnotifyhisorher
supervisorimmediatelyshouldanyfaultsorirregularities
occur.
Theliftingunitsareoperatedwiththree-phasecurrent.The
governingnationaldirectives,standardsandregulations(e.g.VDE
0100)aswellastherequirementsofthelocalenergysupplycompanymustbeobserved.
Thepersonoperatingtheliftingunitmustknowwhereitissuppliedwithpowerandhowtocutoffthesupply.Aresidual-current-operatedprotectionswitch(RCD)mustbeprovided.Inlifting
