Operating instructions 3.2.6 Suspension Adjusting the spring pre-tension: nut A Figure 15 Turning nut A will raise or lower the spring pre-tension (see Figure 15 above). The Pacific is fitted with a double suspension package: nut A Figure 15 a 3.2.7 Electrically adjustable seating system (optional) If your wheelchair is electrically adjustable, the following parts may be electrically adjusted, depending on your wheelchair model: • leg rests • back angle • tilting angle • seating height The electrical adjustment is carried out using the knob on the controller and the joystick: 1. Select the part you wish to adjust by pressing the corresponding knob on the controller. The indicator light will go on to indicate that the corresponding part has been selected, see Figure 19: The following parts may be adjusted: indicator 1 both leg rests simultaneously indicator 2 left-hand side leg rest indicator 3 right-hand side leg rest indicator 4 back angle indicator 5 tilting angle indicator 6 high/low adjustment 2. Select the desired position for the part by pushing the joystick away from you (part will move downward or forward) or pulling it towards you (part will move upward or back). 19
