PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Do not expose the dental camera to splashes from water and do not store it in a damp environment (risk of
electrocution).
• Install the dental camera in a clean environment that is dry and well ventilated.
• Disconnect the controller from the mains if you do not intend using it for several days. Do not pull on the
cable.
• Never crush or pinch the handpiece cable.
• Never expose the product to strong vibration.
• Do not drop the camera.
• Under no circumstances should this camera be immersed in any type of liquid or sterilized in an autoclave.
• It is essential to use the dental barriers provided with the camera or supplied additionally for each new
patient. Before each use, make sure that the camera has no sharp edges.
• The surface temperature in the area where light is emitted may slightly exceed 41°C (after several minutes
of use). Avoid contact, therefore, between this area and the patient’s mouth.
• In compliance with Directive 2002/96/CE relative to electrical and electronic equipment waste (WEEE), Sopro
offers to take back the Sopro 717 intra-oral camera at end of life to recycle it or recover the raw materials
but it must be returned in a condition corresponding to appropriate use. The non-recoverable components are
eliminated in accordance with current rules. You should contact, in this respect, the Sopro retailer from whom
you purchased the medical appliance.
Note: To avoid any risk of environmental contamination that could lead to slight or serious injury, please ensure
that the appliance and its accessories are disposed of with special waste.
