Installing SystemGuard (DAKON XP only)
The SystemGuard allows you to enable the hardware watchdog, and to parameterize the watchdog
retriggering and other monitoring functions.

Note
Click Start → Settings → Control Panel → Software to find out whether the
SystemGuard is already installed. If it is, you can skip the installation and continue with
the configuration of the SystemGuard.

Put the Documentation and Drivers CD-ROM (supplied with DAKON XP) into your CD-ROM
drive.

Use only software provided on the CD-ROM supplied with DAKON XP.

Use the version of SystemGuard supplied on this CD-ROM.

If Autostart is not activated, run Start.exe from the CD-ROM’s root directory. A browser window
will open and display the following page:

In the menu on the left select Software and then on the right select FSC SystemGuard.

The browser will then display the following screen:
