4. Files
4.1. THD Input Files
4.1.1.
Darmstadt Land Use Register
The Darmstadt land register consists of

2119 files (filenames Hrrccb.TOP) with data of height and land use in the old Federal States,
522 files (filenames BWxxxx.DAT) with data of land use in the new Federal States,
514 files (filenames Hoxxxxx.DAT) with data of heights in the new Federal States.
The filenames and formats are described in Section 2.
All Darmstadt land register files must be in one directory.
4.1.2.
THD Control File
The control of THD is managed by the file THD_TAPE5 that has to be in the run directory of
THD. The file is read format free, but the series of comments and input data have to be like in
the example given below. All characters (comments or data) must be quoted by single quotation
marks. Comments (also data lines) must not be longer than 256 characters.

The file is not needed for METRAS -Version of THD. In METRAS all control data are read from an
input dialog.
