SET LOG
The SET LOG command changes parameter values associated with the log.
The alias for SET LOG is MODIFY LOG.
SET LOG [ PARAMETERS ]

Any parameters described in the following section, “SET LOG Parameters” on
page 1-52.
SET LOG Parameters
This section describes the valid parameters for the SET LOG command.
CLASS
The CLASS parameter specifies the JES system output (SYSOUT) class that SOLVE:EPS should use to
spool the log. If the class is specified as *, the startup JCL message class (MSGCLASS) for SOLVE:EPS is
used as the system output class.
This parameter takes effect at the next SPINLOG action.
SET LOG CLASS class
Syntax Description
class
Specifies the system output class to be used.
The default for class is A.
DESTINATION/NODESTINATION
The DESTINATION parameter specifies the JES system output (SYSOUT) destination that SOLVE:EPS
should use to spool the log. If this parameter is not specified the standard default JES destination is used.
This parameter takes effect at the next SPINLOG action.
