USER GUIDE DEBUG HAND HYGIENE SOLUTION (Chlorhexidine 0.5% in Isopropyl Alcohol 70%) Page 1:2 Composition Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5% w/v in Isopropyl Alcohol 70% v/v in an emollient base. Directions For Use Use undiluted. Before and after every patient contact squirt 3mL of DeBug (sufficient to completely cover both hands) into cupped hand. Rub all over both hands for 30 seconds. Apply a further 3mL, repeating the rubbing and allow to dry. Visibly dirty hands should be washed with soap and water and dried before using DeBug. Use Hand hygiene solution. Precautions For external use only. Do not use on open wounds or mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre (Phone Australia 13 11 26). Safety Directions Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. If swallowed drink plenty of water. Alcoholic solutions are flammable. • Avoid pooling on surfaces. • Do not use near a naked flame or other ignition source. If poisoning occurs, contact a Poisons Information Centre (phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by the Poisons Information Centre or doctor, or for at least 15 minutes. First Aid Storage Store below 25oC. Protect from light. Poison Schedule Not Scheduled.
