USER GUIDE CLINIGEL Page 1:1 Composition An odourless, colourless, water-soluble lubricating jelly, preserved with Chlorocresol B.P. 0.1% w/w. Actions A non-irritating lubricant, which is safe for use on the skin and will not damage metal, rubber or plastic instruments. Indications For lubrication of catheters, probes, specula and other instruments, or hands and gloves during obstetric and gynaecological examinations. Vaginal lubrication with Clinigel is effective in alleviating dyspareunia or vaginal dryness. Contraindications Known hypersensitivity to chlorocresol. Precautions Not to be used by persons sensitive to chlorocresol. Adverse Effects Clinigel is normally well tolerated, but should skin irritation occur, discontinue use. Directions for Use Apply to instruments and/or hands prior to use and as required. Storage Store below 30 C.
