Sealing grease: RF../KF.. primary gear unit and motors
The anti-friction bearings in RF/KF primary gear units and motors are given a factory-fill
with the greases listed below. SEW-EURODRIVE recommends regreasing anti-friction
bearings with a grease fill at the same time as changing the oil. Observe the separate
operating instructions for RF/KF primary gear units and motors.

For fast-running bearings (gear unit input end): Fill the cavities between the rolling
elements one-third full with grease.
For slow-running bearings (gear unit input side): Fill the cavities between the rolling
elements two-thirds full with grease.
