1.7 Calendar Week view Events for one calendar week including Saturday and Sunday. The next or previous week can be displayed again using arrows in the upper right corner of the dialog box. If there are more events defined for one day, they are sorted by type: multiple-day events, entire-day events and the other. Only the events of the same type are sorted according to the planned time. Month view Events for each day of the month. The next or previous month can be displayed using arrows in the upper right corner of the dialog box, as in the above views. List view In this view, all events are listed (except repeated events), sorted by date by default. To reorder events, click the heading again to change the order from ascending to descending and vice versa. Events with recurrence All recurrent events sorted in a reference table by creation date. To change and to reverse order of events, click the heading again to change the order from ascending to descending and vice versa. Today Press the Today link to move the pointer to the current day. The following or previous day/week/month is displayed using sliders in the upper right corner of the dialog box. Subsidiary calendar Click the calendar icon in the upper right corner of the dialog box to open the month subsidiary calendar (see figure 1.63). Above all, this thumbnail calendar is used for fast navigation through the calendar, especially if we need to navigate back or forth to a distant event. The today is marked by a box. When another day in the calendar is clicked, the main display of the calendar is also switched to the selected day. To switch to the current day, click Today. 69
