FUNCTION DEFINITIONS Prototype: int LSgetRGNumThreads(pLSrandGen pRG, int *pnThreads); Input Arguments: Name Description pRG A reference to the random number generator. Output Arguments: Name Description pnThreads An integer reference to return the number of parallel threads used. LSfillRGBuffer () Description: Generate next batch of random numbers into random number buffer. Returns: 0 if successful, else one of the error codes listed in Appendix A, Error Codes Prototype: int LSfillRGBuffer(pLSrandGen pRG) Input Arguments: Name Description pRG A reference to the random number generator. Remark: This function is used only with parallel random number generator created with LScreateRGMT(). LSgetRGBufferPtr () Description: Get buffer pointer for fast access. Returns: A pointer to a double array of size (*pnBufferLen). 319
