8 The Telephone book
The Call Recorder CD 300 has an extensive History and Telephone book function. If Caller ID is configured on your
telephone line the Call Recorder CD 300 will automatically display the dialing number when the telephone is ringing. Both
the numbers of incoming and outgoing calls are stored in the history memory. By default the Call Recorder CD 300 also
stores the numbers as the code of the recordings.
8.1 Add a contact
Type in the number that you want to add to the telephone book

Press STORE to add the number to the telephone book.
Name:

Enter the name you want to store the number with. Consult the character map at the beginning of the manual for more
details how to enter the name.

Press STORE to store the number

Press YES to store the entry in the Telephone book.
8.2 Search a contact
Press the Telephone book function key
Telephone book
(Press A-Z)
SEARCH
STOP
Press the numerical key closest to the name you want to search for.

NEXT EDIT
DELETE
STOP
Press NEXT or use the << and >> to scroll through the list to locate the name you are searching for.
8.3 Making a call from the telephone book
Press the Telephone book function key.
The display will show:
Telephone book
(Press A-Z)
SEARCH
STOP
Search the contact in the list as described above. To dial the number, pick up the handset and the number will be dialed
automatically when the dial tone has been detected.
