latitude and longitude sensor must contain data in decimal degrees. South and West is indicated by negative
values. The file header will not be modified.
Input parameters:
•
Input file name (*.tob file)
•
Output file name (*.tob file)
•
Name of the latitude sensor
•
Name of the longitude sensor
•
Name of the new distance sensor
Output:
The output file contains all channels of the input file and a new distance sensor (unit [m]). The original
values of the other channels remain unchanged.
5.1.10
Dist_wet
Procedure:
The module Dist_wet calculates the distance along the probe track through water. The velocity sensor must
contain the velocity through water in [m s-1]. If a time sensor is given the time values must be given in [s].
Instead of a time sensor a time difference [ms] between the data lines can be specified.
The file header will not be modified.
Input parameters:
•
Input file name (*.tob file)
•
Output file name (*.tob file)
•
Name of the velocity sensor
•
Type of time estimation (existing time sensor or calculation from time difference)
•
Name of time sensor sensor
•
Time step between data lines in [ms]
•
Name of the new distance sensor
Output:
The output file contains all channels of the input file and a new distance sensor (unit [m]). The original
values of the other channels remain unchanged.
5.1.11
Exp_10
Procedure:
The module Exp_10 calculates the inverse logarithm (base 10) of one or more selected channels. The file
header will not be modified.
Input parameters:
•
Input file name (*.tob file)
•
Output file name (*.tob file)
•
Names of selected channels for calculation
Output:
The output file contains all channels of the input file. The original values of the selected channels will be
replaced.
