Step 1: Connect device to PC

1-2. Follow the step1: Re- Insert H21 into the USB port again (Close H21 CDFREE auto run install program) and
go to click “Switch” button to switch device to “Firmware Update Mode”. After “Switch”, it will go to next step2.

Step 2: Start Firmware Update
2-1. If tool detect the device goes to “Firmware Update Mode”, the UPDATE button would be enable. Just click the
UPDATE button to upgrade your device firmware.
Ps. If this is the first time to run “H21 Upgrade Tool”, it needs some time to move from “Step1” to “Step2”
(System needs to install device driver).In this time, if your windows ask you to reboot your PC, please ignore it.

After firmware update success, it will go to update the CDROM image on your H21 device.

Ps. In this step4, H21 device will restart itself again and go to execute the CDFREE auto run install program.
Please don’t run and close it directly.

If any error occurred, please check the upgrade tool and images are complete. And then
remove the USB dongle and try again.
