Hardware installation
Please plug the rectangular USB connector into your
computer's rectangular USB port
The device could be detected automatically by PC without
needing the driver
General information
Build-in DC 1.5V battery. The device can be used normally
without having too change the battery for a long period of
time
The device applies to account by normal operations, such
as "+,-,*,/,%"; memory operations, "M+,M-,MR,MC"; and
tax calculations like tax-set, tax-reference, calculating
before tax-in, and calculating after tax-in
The calculator mode (CAL) applies the normal calculator
function. After connecting it to a PC via the USB cable, you
can send the results showed on LCD to the PC to either
input or edit the data

Press "SEND" to send the results from LCD to PC, the
input method should be in "English/Mathematics" mode
Press "MODE" to choose the mode for operation:
o Connecting this device via USB cable to PC, when it
shows "PC-KEYPAD", it is then set in the KEYPAD
mode
o After pressing "Mode", the words "PC-KEYPAD" will
disappear on LCD. It is then set in the calculator (CAL)
mode
The device will automatically turn off after 6 minutes if no
movement was detected

TAX Functions
How to set the tax rate:

First press the "AC/ON" and then press "TAX+", "TAX%"
will be flashing now in the left-upper angle on the LCD
Now please input the tax rate you want to set, then press
the "TAX+" again, after the "TAX%" is stable, the setting
is completed. Ex.: AC/ON TAX+17(tax rate) TAX+ (Tax-set
completed). You can check the current tax-rate setting
anytime by pressing the "AC/ON" and then pressing
"TAX-"
Calculating the amount before tax-in:
Input a figure, such as 1000, and then press "TAX-".
Now it shows the amount before tax-in. Then press
"TAX-" once more, this is the tax amount. After pressing
"TAX-" once again, it will be back on the tax-in amount,
1000.

Calculating the amount after tax-in:
Insert the amount, and then press "TAX+". It will show
the amount after tax-in. When the "TAX+" is pressed
once again, the tax amount will appear. After pressing
the "TAX+" again, it reverts back again to the amount
before tax-in
