GPIO settings
The interface allows choosing among different options for driving the GPS control signals:
Using the GPIOs of the GSM module
Using an external host
Manually controlling the signals by plugging a jumper.
The last option is not available for every signal and every configuration; please refer to the
schematics of the interface for more details.
The choice among the options can be made by PL102, as detailed below.
17.8.1.
Internal host controlling configuration
The following settings on PL101 and PL102 allow selecting the internal host configuration.
Two different cases have to be considered:
cs1439b-A
cs1439b and cs1439b-B
Refer to the beginning of this chapter for the correspondence between board part number
and mounting options.
