However, the following requirements must be met: • There must be a broadband Internet connection with a transfer rate of at least 100 kbits/s in both directions. • The Internet provider must allow VoIP. • For the Busch-ComfortTouch® to be reachable via a conventional call number, an SIP account must be obtained from the Internet provider. The intercom function allows the BuschComfortTouch® to also be used as a house phone. This function enables users to connect two or more panels with image and sound. The intercom offers the user three operating modes: • A direct connection establishes a two-way connection between two panels (both sides can speak). The caller must accept the call. A broadcast enables a one-way connection to multiple panels (only the sender can speak). Broadcasts require no acceptance on the receiver side. 17 R O O M T H E R M O S TAT 19.3 °C KITCHEN Temperature Heating setpoint: 21.0°C 19.3°C Thermostat status: Party time On Heating setpoint: OK Start Su 06/04/08 E-Mail RSS System 10:20 am 19.3 °C R O O M T H E R M O S TAT O P E R AT I N G M O D E S Touch the temperature in the status bar or the relevant button on a control screen to open the room thermostat.
