Cleaning and care Grease filter Removing the grease filter The reusable metal grease filter removes solid particles from the vented kitchen air (grease, dust, etc). The grease filter should be cleaned every 3 - 4 weeks or whenever the grease filter indicator lights. Keep the grease filter clean to prevent a fire hazard. ^ To remove the grease filter pull the locking clip forward. Lower the filter 45° unhook it at the rear and take it out. Support the grease filter so that it does not fall onto the cooktop. 17
