K.O.s 24" (610mm) BASKET Remove Basket by pulling on one side (both ends) clearing the Hinge Pins. Rotate the Basket up and clear the Hinge Pins on the opposite side. To install the Basket, reverse the instructions. Hinge Pin 2-1/4" (64mm) 24" (610mm) Fixture 1-9/16" x 2-13/16" Access Plate with (2) 7/8" Dia. K.O.s 24" (610mm) Hinge Pin 2-1/4" (64mm) 48" (1219mm) 3 BALLAST COVER To remove Ballast Cover, loosen or remove screw. Ballast Cover has a keyhole slot at opposite end. 4 END CAPS (T8 ONLY) Rotate End Cap down (both ends) to clear ceiling opening during installation into the ceiling system. Fixture Screw End Cap Ballast Cover Fixture Ballast Housing Lightolier is a Philips group brand End Cap (In collapsed position) 5 FIXTURE INSTALLATION Angle Fixture up into ceiling opening resting Fixture on Ceiling Tee (by others). Return End Caps to open position (Detail A, T8 Only) for lamping and installation of Perforated Basket. Make wiring connections. 6 EARTHQUAKE CLIP (For 2' x 2' / 2' x 4' only) With Screw secure Earthquake Clip to Fixture with Ceiling Tee (by others) between Earthquake Clip and Fixture as shown. Ceiling Tee (by others) Ceiling Opening Earthquake Clip Screw Ceiling Tee (by others) Screw Fixture End Cap T8 Only (In collapsed position) Ceiling Tee (by others) Earthquake Clip Lamp Holder End Cap Detail A 7 ACCESS PLATE Remove Access Plate, when desired by sliding Access Plate in the direction of Arrow 1. Lift up and slide Access Plate in the direction of Arrow 2. Bend Housing Tab up out of Ballast Housing, make ground connection. Bend Ballast Housing Tab back to original position. Replace Access Plate by reversing the removal instructions.
