Slide Switches
The clock slide switch selects between 8MHz and 12MHz.
Slide switch to the left to select SMHz, slide to the
right to select 12Mhz.
The CRT/LCD slide switch selects support for either an

the LCD, slide to the left to connect an external CRT.

The Equity LT-2880 AC adapter is an auto-sensing unit which

When using the Equity LT288e on battery power,
conservation measures are available and should be

set the backlight period option
tc the shortest available setting

use the HDDPSWE feature to
automatically turn the HDD off
at times when it is not being

Periodically, discharge the battery completely. This
will help to minimize the memory effect
encountered with NiCad batteries. After the
complete discharge, give the LT-286e a full, &hour
recharge. This will help to keep battery charge life
aa great as possible.

monitor, lf your aoftwam requires that you specify a
display type, select EGA 640 X 350 MONO.
Mass Storage
Be careful when handling the removable hard
drives. Unneoessary roughness can set off the
shock indicator.
Software Problems
When installing a copy-protected software package
on the Equity LT-288e, sat the the CPU speed to 8
MHz. This has been found to have fewer conflicts
