Programming Units and Accessories Handheld Programmer Terminal Model 91200 Description The Handheld Programmer Terminal is a universal set-up tool for configuring a wide range of products within the Scientific Atlanta product range. The device comes complete with cables. The Handheld Programmer Terminal does not require batteries as the unit being programmed will supply the power required to operate the unit. The portable Handheld Programmer Terminal features 500 kb of memory, as well as installed programs and product-specific drivers. The operation of a specific product requires that a driver for this particular product is installed in the unit. The number and models of products to be configured by using the Handheld Programmer Terminal are constantly changing as new products are introduced to the Scientific Atlanta product portfolio. The Handheld Programmer Terminal comes with pre-installed drivers and application support for most common products. As new products are developed or new software upgrades are released, the Download Kit type 91210 and a PC can be used to upgrade the Handheld Programmer Terminal without returning it to Scientific Atlanta for an update.
