Introducing Pioneer’s BDP-V6000
Professional Blu-ray Disc Player
High-performance HD video
There’s HD video. And there’s Pioneer HD video: The BDP-V6000
integrates technologies to reduce block, mosquito and digital noise
for stunning images. Image quality that’s further improved through
48-bit deep colour support for video with greater intensity and
clarity. De-interlacing technologies ensure that movie playback is
exceptional too. And with compatibility to 1080p / 24 Hz images,
the BDP-V6000 can accommodate the uprated screen performance
of future displays.
Flexible and secure control
With RS-232C the BDP-V6000 is integrated simply within video
control systems to remotely schedule and control operation.
The player can be safely located away from public areas and be
connected to touch-screen systems enabling your customers to
interact with your content. If you need the player to be controlled
by non-technical staff that’s no problem: A new highly intuitive GUI
interface enables the BDP-V6000’s key features to be operated with
second nature ease.
Adding features to the feature
The BDP-V6000 integrates BD Live™; 1GB of internal memory allows
new video content such as interactive features to be
downloaded through the Ethernet connection without having
to remaster a Blu-ray disc. The USB port allows for extra storage
capacity to be added for BD live content.
The combination of BD Live and the Ethernet connection allows
content to be played from remote servers. Information such as
offers/promotions, updates to opening and closing times, and
information on forthcoming events can be easily displayed.

through any number of external devices.
