Flexible and secure control With RS-232C the BDP-V6000 is integrated simply within video control systems to remotely schedule and control operation. The player can be safely located away from public areas and be connected to touch-screen systems enabling your customers to interact with your content. If you need the player to be controlled by non-technical staff that’s no problem: A new highly intuitive GUI interface enables the BDP-V6000’s key features to be operated with second nature ease. Adding features to the feature The BDP-V6000 integrates BD Live™; 1GB of internal memory allows new video content such as interactive features to be downloaded through the Ethernet connection without having to remaster a Blu-ray disc. The USB port allows for extra storage capacity to be added for BD live content. The combination of BD Live and the Ethernet connection allows content to be played from remote servers. Information such as offers/promotions, updates to opening and closing times, and information on forthcoming events can be easily displayed. Enhanced Search Options: Users can navigate through a disc’s title, chapter and time code menus quickly and easily.
