Steering damper (fig. 43.1 and fig. 43.2)
The steering damper is located in front of the tank and
secured to the frame and steering head.
It helps improve steering accuracy and stability, and thus
also improves ride quality in any riding conditions.

Turn the knob (1) clockwise for a harder setting,
anticlockwise for a softer setting.
Each adjustment position is identified by a click.
Warning (1098S)
Never attempt to adjust the knob (1) while riding,
or you may lose control of the motorcycle.
