Congratulations! You are the proud owner of a CALORIUS water kettle,
the electric stainless steel kettle from BODUM ®.
Before using the water kettle read these instructions carefully.

PROTECTION OF OTHERS
– Read all instructions
– This kettle is not intended for use by children. Keep small children away from
the kettle and never let the cord hang down over the edge of your worktop –
a child could grab it and pull the kettle down.
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
– Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home.
If not, please contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
– Always attach the plug to the appliance before plugging the cord into the
power socket. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from
wall outlet.
LOCATION
– Do not place the kettle on or near a gas stove, on an electric ring or in a heated oven or microwave.
– Ensure that the kettle is used on a stable, flat surface.
– This kettle is for household use only. Do not use it outdoors.
USE
– To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse the
cord, electric plug or the kettle in water or other liquids.
– Do not touch hot surfaces (especially the stainless steel surface).
Only use the handle to pick up the kettle.
– Unplug the kettle from the power socket outlet when the product is not in use
or before cleaning the kettle. Allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning
the appliance.
– Always disconnect the base from the electrical power outlet when filling the
kettle with water or emptying it.
– The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer, may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
– Always ensure that the cap is closed tightly and do not remove it whilst the
water is boiling. Scalding may occur if the cap is removed during the boiling
cycles.
– Do not fill the kettle over the MAX level marked both outside and inside on
the water gauge.
– Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot
surfaces.

– Always make sure you pour boiling water slowly and carefully without
tipping the spout of the kettle too quickly.
– Avoid contact with steam emitted from the hole in the cap when the water is
boiling or just after it has been switched off to avoid scalding.
Be careful when removing the cap to refill the kettle when the kettle
is still hot.
– Do not forcefully hold the switch in the ON position or tamper with the switch
to hold it in the ON position as this may cause steam to be ejected which
could damage the automatic switch-off mechanism as well as cause personal
injury.
WARNING
– When the water boils, steam comes out of the opening
in the cap, as shown in the picture. Users should
take particular care when using the kettle as steam
is very hot and can easily burn you.
– Please make sure the power cord does not touch
the metal surface of the kettle as it gets very hot
during the boiling process.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
If the kettle is too full, boiling water may splash out.
Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it
from the base.
– Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than for boiling water.
– Extreme caution must be taken when moving the appliance when it contains
hot water.
Do not place the base of the kettle onto a metal tray or any
other metal surface when it is plugged into a power source.
– Do not use the appliance if there is any damage to the body, base, power cord
or plug. If the appliance is damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer
or an authorised agent in order to avoid danger.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Your kettle is fitted with an ON/OFF switch which automatically switches off
once the water has boiled. If the kettle has just boiled, wait a few minutes
before re - boiling the kettle. Do not attempt to hold the ON/OFF switch in the
ON position or adjust the switch mechanism.
SWITCHING OFF THE KETTLE MANUALLY
You can even switch the kettle off manually before the water boils, by using
the ON/OFF lever (➏ ).
SAFETY CUT-OUT DEVICE
The kettle is protected against damage from operating with insufficient water.
A safety cut - out automatically switches off the power when the heating element gets too hot.
If the kettle ever runs dry while operating, you must allow it to cool down for
10 minutes before refilling with cold water. The safety cut-out device will automatically reset itself after it has cooled down.
360° CONNECTOR BASE
The 360° connector between the body (➐ ) and the base (➒ ) means that the
kettle can be located at any point on the base.

AUTOMATIC ON/OFF SWITCH
BEFORE USING YOUR STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
Before using the kettle for the first time, clean it by boiling a full kettle of
water then discarding the water.
HOW TO USE THE STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
FILLING THE STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
– Remove the body from its base unit (➒ ).
– Remove the cap (➋), then fill water through the hole of the top
cover (➎ ).
Do not fill the kettle with water less than 0.3 litres or more
than 1.25 litres / 42 oz (over MAX indication) to prevent the
kettle running dry or boiling water being ejected from the
hole of the top cover (➎ ).

CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
– After filling your kettle, place it on the base unit
(➒ ), making sure that the body fits on the 360°
contact housing (➑ ) on the base unit (➒ ).
– Connect the power plug to the power supply and
push the ON/OFF lever (➏ ) down.
NOTE: Ensure that the ON/OFF lever is clear
of obstructions and the cap is closed tightly.
SWITCHING OFF
– Your kettle is fitted with an ON / OFF switch which
automatically switches off once the water has
boiled.
– You can turn off the power by lifting the ON / OFF
lever (➏) up at any time. The kettle can also be
switched off automatically by removing the kettle
body from the base at any time.
NOTE: The kettle can not be turned off
manually if the switch is obstructed or the
ON / OFF lever is held down.
POURING WATER
– To remove the kettle from the base (➒ ), grasp the grip (➌ ) and hold the
body horizontally while lifting clear of the base unit (➒ ).
– The spout cap (➋ ) shall be removed before pouring.
– Pour water from the hole in the top cover (➎).
NOTE: Please be careful when pouring water from the kettle as
boiling water may scald.
SWITCHING THE KETTLE ON AGAIN
– The kettle can be switched on again at any time when the kettle has been
turned off manually.
– You can switch the kettle on again provided the built-in thermal safety
switch has had enough time to cool down.

– Dissolve contents of BODUM® cleaner and descaler package in 4 cups of
warm water.
– Pour the water into the kettle, turn it on and boil the water as usual.
– Once boiled, empty out the water, rinse all components and repeat steps 1
and 2 twice with clean water.
Do not use chemicals, steel wool or abrasive cleaners to clean
the outside of the kettle.
STORAGE
– Excess cord can be stored in the storage cavity inside the base unit (➒ ).
NOTE: Ensure the power is off when the kettle is not in use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
CARE AND CLEANING
During normal usage, descale the kettle at least twice a year. Always remove
the plug from the power socket before cleaning.
For regular removal of scale from the kettle we recommend using BODUM®
cleaner and descaler (art. no. 05-3000C&D) or any other standard descaler.
Please follow these instructions:
SHORT CORD
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over
a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used, 1) The
marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
2)If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding-type 3-wire cord, and 3) The longer cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over.

– Este hervidor no está destinado a los niños. Mantenga el hervidor fuera del
alcance de niños pequeños y nunca deje colgado el cable sobre el borde de la
mesada de la cocina – los niños podrían asir el cable y tirar el hervidor.
ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA
– Antes de conectar el hervidor a la corriente eléctrica, compruebe si la tensión
indicada en el aparato coincide con el voltaje en su hogar. En caso contrario,
consulte al proveedor y no use el hervidor.
– Conecte siempre primero el enchufe al aparato, y después el cable a la toma
de la pared. Para desconectar, gire el control a "off", y retire luego el enchufe
de la toma.
UBICACIÓN
– No coloque el hervidor sobre o cerca de una cocina de gas, una placa eléctrica o en un horno o microondas calientes.
– Use el hervidor sólo sobre una superficie lisa y estable.
– Este hervidor está previsto sólo para uso en el hogar y no debe usarse en
exteriores.
USO
– No sumerja el cable, el enchufe ni el hervidor en agua ni en ningún otro líquido para evitar incendio, electrocución y lesiones.
– No toque nunca superficies calientes (especialmente la superficie de acero
inoxidable). Levante el hervidor sólo sosteniéndolo por el asa.
– Desenchufe el hervidor de la toma cuando no lo usa o antes de limpiarlo.
Espere hasta que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo.
– El uso de accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante puede causar incendios, electrocución o lesiones.
– Asegúrese siempre de que el tapón esté bien colocado en el hervidor y no lo
retire mientras hierve el agua. Riesgo de quemaduras por agua hirviendo si se
retira el tapón durante la ebullición.
– No llene nunca el hervidor por encima de la marca "MAX” del indicador de
nivel de agua en la parte exterior e interior.
– No deje colgar el cable sobre el canto de la mesa o la encimera, ni en

Si el hervidor está demasiado lleno, puede salpicar agua
hirviendo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
– Preste siempre atención a verter el agua hirviendo lenta y cuidadosamente, y
a no inclinar bruscamente el pico de vertido del hervidor.
– Debido al riesgo de quemaduras, evite el contacto con el vapor que sale por el
orificio del tapón cuando hierve el agua o inmediatamente después de desconectar el hervidor. Retire el tapón cuidadosamente si el hervidor todavía está
caliente y desea volver a llenarlo.
– No fije el interruptor en la posición CON usando la fuerza ni realice ninguna
manipulación no permitida en el interruptor para mantenerlo en la posición
CON. Esto podría provocar la salida de vapor alrededor de la tapa, lo que, a su
vez, dañaría el mecanismo de desconexión automática y podría causar lesiones.
ATENCIÓN
– Cuando el agua hierve en el hervidor, sale vapor por
el orificio del tapón, tal como se ve en el dibujo.
Al usar el hervidor, debe tener mucho cuidado,
porque el vapor sale muy caliente y puede
causarle fácilmente serias quemaduras.
– Asegúrese de que el cable no toque la superficie
de metal del hervidor porque ésta se calienta
mucho durante la ebullición.
Asegúrese de que el hervidor está desconectado antes de
retirarlo de su base.
– Use el hervidor solo y exclusivamente para hervir agua.
– Mueva el aparato con extrema precaución cuando contiene agua caliente.
No coloque la base del hervidor sobre una bandeja metálica
u otra superficie de metal cuando está enchufado a la toma
de corriente.
– No use el aparato si el cuerpo del mismo, la base, el cable o el enchufe están
dañados. Para evitar peligros, todo daño debe ser reparado exclusivamente
por el fabricante o un agente autorizado por éste último.

CONEXIÓN Y DESCONEXIÓN AUTOMÁTICAS
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Su hervidor está equipado con un interruptor CON / DES que se desconecta
automáticamente cuando el agua alcanza la temperatura de ebullición. Si el
agua acaba de hervir, espere aproximadamente un minuto antes de volver a
hacer hervir el hervidor. No intente mantener el interruptor CON / DES en la
posición CON de ajuste del mecanismo de conexión.
DESCONEXIÓN MANUAL DEL HERVIDOR
El hervidor se puede desconectar manualmente cuando el agua alcanza la
temperatura de ebullición. Con el interruptor CON / DES (➏ ) también puede
desconectar el aparato antes de que hierva el agua.
DESCONEXIÓN DE SEGURIDAD
El hervidor tiene un dispositivo de desconexión automática para los casos en
los que se usa con una cantidad insuficiente de agua. Ese dispositivo desconecta
automáticamente la corriente cuando el elemento calefactor se calienta
demasiado.
Si el hervidor llegara a funcionar una vez sin agua, deberá dejarlo enfriar
durante unos 10 minutos antes de volver a llenarlo con agua fría.
El dispositivo de seguridad se desconecta automáticamente cuando el hervidor
se enfría.
UNIDAD DE CONTACTO DE 360°
Gracias a la unidad de contacto de 360° (circular) entre el cuerpo (➐ ) y la base
(➒ ), usted puede colocar el hervidor en cualquier punto de la base.
ANTE DE USAR SU HERVIDOR DE ACERO INOXIDABLE
Debe limpiar el hervidor antes del primer uso. Para ello, llénelo completamente con agua, hágala hervir y viértala después.
CÓMO USAR EL HERVIDOR DE ACERO INOXIDABLE
LLENADO DEL HERVIDOR
– Levante el cuerpo del hervidor de su base (➒ ).
– Retire el tapón (➋ ) y llene el hervidor con agua a través del orificio de la
cubierta (➎ ).
No llene el hervidor con menos de 0.3 litros ni con más de
1.25 litros (por encima de la marca “MAX”) para evitar el
funcionamiento en seco del aparato o las salpicaduras de
agua hirviendo por el orificio de la cubierta (➎ ).

CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
– Después de llenar el hervidor, colóquelo sobre la
base (➒ ) asegurándose de que el cuerpo quede
correctamente apoyado sobre la unidad de contacto de 360° (➑ ) de la base (➒ ).
– Enchufe el cable a la toma de corriente y presione
hacia abajo el interruptor CON/DES (➏ ).
OBSERVACIÓN: Controle que el interruptor
CON / DES no esté bloqueado y que el tapón
esté bien colocado y cierre bien el orificio.
DESCONEXIÓN
– Su hervidor está equipado con un interruptor
CON / DES que se desconecta automáticamente
cuando el agua ha hervido.
– Usted puede desconectar el hervidor en todo
momento, levantando el interruptor CON/DES (➏ )
para ponerlo en la posición de desconexión.El
hervidor también se desconecta automáticamente
al levantar el cuerpo de la base.
OBSERVACIÓN: El hervidor no se puede
desconectar manualmente, si el interruptor
está bloqueado o el interruptor DES/CON
está en la posición de abajo.
VERTIDO DEL AGUA
– Para retirar el hervidor de la base (➒ ), sosténgalo por el asa (➌ ) manteniendo el cuerpo en posición horizontal (sin inclinarlo) mientras lo levanta de la
base (➒ ).
– Debe retirarse la tapa (➋ ) antes de verter el líquido.
– Vierta el agua a través del orificio de la cubierta (➎ ).
OBSERVACIÓN: Vierta el agua con cuidado. Recuerde que el agua
hirviendo puede causar serias quemaduras.
VOLVER A CONECTAR EL HERVIDOR
– Si el hervidor se desconectó manualmente, se lo puede volver a conectar en
todo momento.
– Usted puede volver a conectar el aparato apenas el interruptor térmico de
seguridad integrado ha tenido el tiempo necesario para enfriarse.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Bajo condiciones normales de uso, deberá eliminar el sarro del hervidor dos
veces al año. Desenchufe siempre el aparato antes de limpiarlo.
Para la eliminación periódica del sarro, le recomendamos usar el producto
limpiador y desincrustador BODUM® (art. n°. 05-3000C&D) u otro desincrustador
de venta habitual en el comercio. Le rogamos seguir las siguientes
instrucciones:
– Disuelva el contenido del sobre de producto limpiador y desincrustador
BODUM® en 4 tazas de agua caliente.
– Vierta el agua en el hervidor, conéctelo y hierva el agua como de costumbre.
– Después de la ebullición, vierta el agua y repita los pasos 1 y 2 dos veces con
agua fresca.
No use productos químicos, lana de acero ni detergentes
abrasivos para limpiar la superficie exterior del hervidor.
ALMACENAMIENTO
– El exceso de cable se puede enrollar y guardar en el compartimiento especial
para el cable en la base (➒ ) del aparato.
OBSERVACIÓN: El hervidor siempre debe desconectarse de la corriente cuando no se usa.

a) Un cable de alimentación corto (o cable de alimentación desmontable)
debe proveerse para reducir los riesgos de enredarse en o tropezarse con
un cable más largo.
b) Cables de alimentación desmontables más largos o cables de extensión
están disponibles y pueden usarse con el debido cuidado.
c) Si se usa un cable largo o una extensión, 1) la potencia eléctrica marcada en
el cable de alimentación desmontable o en la extensión debe por lo menos

de BODUM ®. Avant d’utiliser votre bouilloire, lisez attentivement les

PROTECTION DES AUTRES
– Lisez attentivement toutes les instructions.
– Cette bouilloire n’est pas prévue pour être utilisée par des enfants. Gardez les
jeunes enfants hors de portée de la bouilloire et ne laissez jamais le
cordon pendre au-delà du bord de votre plan de travail, un enfant pourrait
l’attraper et faire tomber la bouilloire.
ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE
– Avant de brancher la bouilloire, assurez-vous que le voltage indiqué sur
l’appareil correspond bien à celui de votre maison. Si ce n’est pas le cas,
contactez votre revendeur et n’utilisez en aucun cas la bouilloire.
– Commencez toujours par introduire la fiche dans l'appareil avant de brancher
ce dernier sur la prise murale. Pour arrêter l’appareil, mettez l’interrupteur sur
«off» puis débranchez la fiche.
EMPLACEMENT
– Ne posez pas la bouilloire sur un bec de gaz, une plaque électrique ou un four
(à micro-ondes) chaud ou à proximité d’un de ces appareils.
– Assurez-vous que la bouilloire est installée sur une surface stable et plane.
– Cette bouilloire est réservée à un usage ménager uniquement. Ne l'utilisez
pas à l'extérieur.

UTILISATION
– Pour éviter tout risque d’incendie, de décharge électrique ou de blessure,
ne plongez jamais le cordon, la fiche ou la bouilloire dans de l’eau ou tout
autre liquide.
– Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes (en particulier celles en acier inoxydable). Prenez toujours la bouilloire par la poignée.
– Retirer la fiche de la prise lorsque vous n’utilisez pas la bouilloire ou avant de
la laver. Laissez refroidir la bouilloire avant de la nettoyer.
– L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant peut causer un
risque d’incendie, de décharge électrique ou de blessure.
– Assurez-vous que le bouchon est bien fermé et ne l’enlevez pas pendant que
l’eau est en train de bouillir. Vous pourriez vous ébouillanter en retirant le
bouchon lorsque l’eau bout.
– Ne remplissez pas la bouilloire au-delà de l'indication MAX qui se trouve tant
à l'intérieur qu’à l'extérieur de l'indicateur du niveau d'eau.
– Ne laissez pas le cordon pendre le long d'un coin de table ou d'un plan de
travail; évitez aussi qu’il puisse entrer en contact avec une surface chaude.
De l’eau pourrait gicler si la bouilloire est trop remplie.
– Versez toujours l’eau bouillante lentement et délicatement sans basculer le
bec de la bouilloire trop rapidement.
– Pour ne pas être ébouillanté, évitez tout contact avec la vapeur s’échappant
de l’orifice de la bouilloire lorsque l’eau bout ou juste après l’arrêt de la bouilloire. Soyez prudent lorsque vous retirez le bouchon pour remplir la bouilloire
lorsque celle-ci est encore chaude.
– Ne forcez pas l’interrupteur en position MARCHE; Il y a risque de blessure! En
outre, de la vapeur pourrait s’échapper par l’orifice de la partie supérieure et
le mécanisme d’arrêt automatique pourrait être endommagé.
ATTENTION
MODE D’EMPLOI
– Lorsque l'eau bout dans la bouilloire, de la vapeur
s'échappe de l'orifice du bouchon (voir illustration
cicontre). Faites très attention lorsque vous utilisez
la bouilloire dans ces circonstances car la vapeur
est très chaude et risque de vous brûler.
– Veillez à ce que le cordon de raccordement
n’entre pas en contact avec les surfaces
mètalliques de la bouilloire car celles-ci atteignent
des températures très èlevees pendant le chauffage
de l’eau.
Vérifiez que la bouilloire est bien éteinte avant de la retirer
de sa base.
– La bouilloire ne doit servir qu’à faire bouillir de l’eau; ne l’utilisez pas à d’autres fins.
– Faites particulièrement attention lorsque vous déplacez l’appareil rempli d’eau
chaude.
Ne déposez pas la base de la bouilloire sur un support ou
une surface métallique lorsqu’elle est branchée.
– N’utilisez pas l’appareil s’il présente le moindre dommage au récipient, à la
base, au cordon ou à la fiche. Si l’appareil est endommagé, il doit être réparé
par le fabricant ou un agent agréé pour éviter tout danger.

INSTRUCTIONS PARTICULIERES
INTERRUPTEUR MARCHE / ARRET AUTOMATIQUE
Votre bouilloire est équipée d'un interrupteur MARCHE / ARRÊT qui se met
automatiquement en position ARRÊT lorsque l'eau a bouilli. Si l'eau vient juste
de bouillir, attendez environ une minute avant de remettre la bouilloire en
marche. N'essayez pas de maintenir l'interrupteur en position MARCHE ou de
modifier le réglage du mécanisme.
ARRÊT MANUEL DE LA BOUILLOIRE
Vous pouvez aussi arrêter la bouilloire avant que l’eau ne soit bouillante en
utilisant l’interrupteur MARCHE / ARRÊT (➏ ).

La bouilloire est protégée contre tout dommage pouvant résulter d’une
utili-sation avec une quantité insuffisante d’eau. Un dispositif d’arrêt de
sécurité coupe automatiquement le chauffage lorsque la résistance devient
trop chaude.
Si la bouilloire devait un jour fonctionner à sec, laissez-la refroidir pendant
10 min avant de la remplir de nouveau d’eau froide. Le dispositif d’arrêt se
débloquera automatiquement une fois la bouilloire refroidie.
CONTACT A 360 °
Le contact à 360 ° situé entre le récipient (➐ ) et la base (➒ ) permet de déposer la bouilloire sur sa base sans devoir respecter une orientation particulière.
AVANT D’UTILISER VOTRE BOUILLOIRE EN ACIER INOXYDABLE
Lors de la première mise en service de votre bouilloire, faites chauffer de l’eau
pour la nettoyer. Ne consommez pas cette eau.
UTILISATION DE VOTRE BOUILLOIRE EN ACIER INOXYDABLE
REMPLIR LA BOUILLOIRE EN ACIER INOXYDABLE
– Enlevez le récipient de sa base (➒ ).
– Enlevez le bouchon (➋ ), puis remplissez la bouilloire d’eau par l’orifice de la
partie supérieure (➎ ).
Vouz devez remplir la bouilloire d’au moins 0.3 litre pour
éviter qu’elle fonctionne à vide (évaporation de l’eau) et ne
pas dépasser 1.25 litre (indication MAX) pour éviter que de
l’eau ne puisse gicler par l’orifice de la partie supérieure (➎).

BRANCHER LA BOUILLOIRE ➓
– Une fois votre bouilloire remplie, posez-la sur la
base (➒ ) en vous assurant qu’elle est bien positionnée sur le contact à 360 ° (➑ ) de la base (➒ ).
– Mettez la fiche dans la prise et abaissez l’interrupteur MARCHE / ARRÊT (➏ ).
REMARQUE: vérifiez que rien n’entrave le
mouvement de l’interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT
et que le bouchon est bien fermé.
ARRÊTER LA BOUILLOIRE
– Votre bouilloire est équipée d'un interrupteur
MARCHE / ARRÊT qui se met automatiquement en
position ARRÊT lorsque l'eau a bouilli.
– Vous pouvez arrêter la bouilloire à tout instant en
relevant l’interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT (➏ ).
Si vous enlevez la bouilloire de sa base, elle s’arrête automatiquement.
REMARQUE: la bouilloire ne peut être arrêtée
manuellement si le mouvement de l’interrupteur est entravé ou si l’interrupteur
MARCHE/ARRÊT est maintenu en position
abaissée.
VERSER DE L’EAU
– Pour enlever la bouilloire de sa base (➒ ), prenez-la par la poignée (➌ ) et
soulevez-la de telle manière qu’elle reste bien horizontale (➒ ).
– Le bouchon (➋ ) doit être enlevé avant de pouvoir verser l’eau.
– Versez l’eau par l’orifice de la partie supérieure (➎ ).
REMARQUE: faites attention lorsque vous versez l’eau; elle est
bouillante!
REMETTRE LA BOUILLOIRE EN MARCHE
– Lorsque la bouilloire a été arrêtée manuellement, elle peut être remise en
marche à tout moment.
– Vous pouvez remettre la bouilloire en marche dès que l’interrupteur thermique de sécurité intégré a eu suffisamment le temps de refroidir.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
En cas d’utilisation normale, détartrez votre bouilloire au moins deux fois
par an. Débranchez-la toujours avant de la nettoyer. Il est recommandé
d’utiliser le nettoyant et le détartrant BODUM® (n°art 05-3000C&D) ou tout
autre détartrant standard. Veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes:
– Dissolvez le contenu du nettoyant et détartrant BODUM® dans 4 tasses
d’eau chaude.
– Versez cette eau dans la bouilloire, mettez-la en marche et faites bouillir
l’eau comme d’habitude.
– Une fois que l’eau a bouilli, jetez-la et répétez les étapes 1 et 2 deux fois
avec de l’eau pure.
MODE D’EMPLOI
N’utilisez pas de produits chimiques, de laine d’acier ou de
produits abrasifs pour nettoyer l’extérieur de la bouilloire.
RENGEMENT
– Le surplus de cordon peut être enroulé dans la cavité sous la base (➒ ).
REMARQUE: vérifiez que la bouilloire est bien arrêtée lorsque vous
ne l’utilisez pas.

CORDON COURT
a) Un cordon d’alimentation court (ou détachable) est fourni pour réduire les
risques de se prendre les pieds dans un câble plus long ou de trébucher.
b) Des cordons de raccordement plus longs ou des rallonges sont disponibles
et peuvent être utilisés pour autant que toutes les précautions nécessaires
soient prises.
c) En cas d’utilisation d’un cordon d’alimentation plus long ou d’une rallonge,
il faut veiller aux points suivants: 1) la puissance électrique du cordon ou de
la rallonge doit être au moins identique à celle de l’appareil; 2) si l’appareil
