Vent line of engine coolant circuit – Replacement
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
WARNING
Coolant is hot and under pressure.
Risk of injury and scalding!
• Let the engine cool down.
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles / safety mask.
Replacing coolant vent line
Drain engine coolant (→ Page 162).
Release union nuts (1) and (3).
Remove coolant vent line (2).
Install new coolant vent line (2).
Fill with engine coolant (→ Page 164).
