Cleaning and care
Aluminium fronts
Aluminium is affected by the way that light falls on it, by the
surrounding environment and by the angle you observe it
from.
Aluminium surfaces and controls may suffer discolouration
or damage if soiling is left on them for too long. Remove
any soiling straight away with a damp cloth.
Warning: The surfaces and controls are susceptible to
scratches and abrasion.
Avoid:
– stainless steel cleaners,
– cleaning agents containing descaling agents,
– diswasher detergent.
Maintenance
The capsule hopper in the brew unit needs to be replaced
after about 15,000 cups of coffee. Replacement capsule
hoppers are available from the Miele Spare Parts Dept.
