The compressors listed here have been carefully selected to form a complete range covering the majority of home, semi-professional and professional users. Whether it be airbrushing, spraying, stapling/
nailing, screwdriving, drilling or a host of other applications there is a compressor here to fit the bill. All of our compressors are manufactured to high quality standards and will give excellent performance and
reliability. All the receivers are fully tested and conform to all current safety standards. Each unit comes with a full 12 months warranty and all the receivers are individually certificated. The range is backed up
by an excellent spares and after sales service.
We are often asked for advice from customers when choosing a compressor. Our two main pieces of advice are firstly, always look at the free air delivered by the compressor, not the piston displacement and,
secondly make sure that the output of the compressor exceeds the consumption of the tool or tools. Some manufacturers quote just the piston displacement and this can mislead the unwary into believing
they are purchasing a compressor with a larger capability than they are actually getting. Provided that the free air delivery from the compressor exceeds the requirement of the air tool you should not have the
problem of running out of air halfway through a job. The alternative, of course, is to buy the biggest compressor at the outset on the basis that you will then have sufficient capacity for larger tools in the future.

Axminster Air AWC20HP Compressor
The AWC20HP is an economically priced single cylinder oil lubricated unit with a 1.4kW high
efficiency motor. The cast iron pump cylinder provides long term durability. Producing 5cfm @ 40 psi
and 4cfm @ 90 psi compressed air delivery into a 24 litres air receiver. Fitted with wheels and a grab
handle for easy mobility. Receiver and outlet pressure gauges are fitted along with an outlet pressure
regulator. It is suitable for a whole range of general workshop uses such as small size nailing and
stapling, riveting, greasing, dusting, tyre inflation, airbrushing and touch-up spraying. The only jobs
which are beyond its capabilities are the use of the larger continuously running tools such as sanders,
drills and polishers, all of which will need a more powerful compressor coupled to a larger capacity
tank. The outlet is fitted with a 1/4” BSP female quick release fitting.
A small, direct drive, oil lubricated, ducted air cooled, portable
compressor. Great in the workshop or around the home for low
volume air tools such as air staplers and nailers, air brush painting,
occasional tyre inflation etc. Quite a robust little unit with a cast
iron cylinder for long life. Twin pressure gauges monitor receiver
and output pressures. Supplied with four rubber feet, top grab
handle for easy mobility, output pressure control valve and a 1/4”
BSP female quick release fitting.

A compact yet powerful unit, the AWC30HP, features a twin cast iron cylinder oil lubricated
and ducted air cooled pump, which is directly driven by a 2.2kW motor. The 50 litre tank
is very quickly re-charged and has a variable output pressure regulating valve and gauges
for monitoring output pressure and tank pressure. The noise level is noticeably unobtrusive and
subdued so should not annoy any neighbours. Very portable as it is supplied with two decent wheels
and a convenient grab handle. Able to drive all air tools except the highest air demanding sanders and spray guns, this is an excellent

Axminster Air AWBD30100 Compressor
Sharing the same motor and pump unit from the AWBD3050 compressor,
this model has a 100 litre receiver tank to give twice as much stored air
capacity. This allows some demanding tasks that need a greater volume
of high pressure air to be carried out. The same facilities as found on the
AWBD3050 model are also found here. i.e. receiver and output pressure
gauges, adjustable output pressure, decent sized pneumatic tyres and a grab
handle. Whilst not as compact as the 50 litre version, the extra capacity can be
very handy at times.

Filters & Regulators
A range of industrially-rated air control units for lubricating,
filtering and controlling the air supply from the compressor to the
air tool. They all have mounting brackets supplied and the filter

In Line Disposable Air Filters
These in-line filters, with their centrifugal action and built in
filter, will make all the difference to a sprayed finish. Used in
conjunction with a tank mounted air filter they should give up

Bambi HT24-2P
Oil Free Compressor
This is a variation of the well established Bambi BB24V, having
the same frame and receiver but fitted with a high volume, twin
cylinder oil free pump unit. Providing a greatly increased air
flow volume, this machine offers a great balance of performance
with what is still a low noise level at 59dB(A). The other major
difference is that the air supplied is completely oil free, making
it suitable for those demanding applications not easily resolved
before. The air cooled pump reduces the weight making
this compressor even more portable. Receiver and output
pressure gauges are provided, rubber feet provide noise and
vibration dampening. This is a top quality high specification
compressor, able to provide air supply solutions to many different
applications.

Air Hoses
Airline Fittings
The best way to connect up your compressed air system is to
use bayonet quick release airline fittings at both the compressor
and tool ends of the air hose; the fittings are easy and safe to use
and allow for quick interchange of tools and hoses. The diagram
below shows the recommended layout of the system - please
note that the spring loaded quick release fittings should be fitted
to the compressor and to the tool end of the hose so that the air
is contained when either the hose or the tool are disconnected.
The swivelling fittings, 410251 male and 410250 female, are
highly recommended for fitting to the air tool, as they give
greater flexibility in operating the tool as well as preventing snags
and twisted airlines.
8mm bore nitrile hose with crimped-on 1/4” BSP male fittings on
both ends in a choice of two lengths and supplied with the necessary
quick release fittings to attach to a compressor and air tool.

The Fuji Mini-Mite 3 and 4 models are a replacement for the
previous Mini Mite model. It has a three or four stage turbine
power unit and 7.6m (25’) of 3/4” bore hose. It is similar in most
respects to the Q3/4 models but without the cost of the Q’s
noise deadening package. Despite this, the Mini-Mite models are
really as quiet as any comparable HVLP system on the market.
Most finishes can be sprayed, including inks, stains, lacquers,
varnishes, enamels, acrylics and so on, although some will have
to be thinned before use. Included with the unit is Fuji’s very
comprehensive guide which covers all aspects of HVLP spraying
in great detail. You will need to choose either a suction or gravity
fed T70 spraygun. The major advance of the newly designed
T70 spray gun is an adjustable Spray Pattern Control. This allows
the adjustment of the spray pattern whilst spraying if required,
allowing complete accuracy of the pattern to suit the task. The
T70 sprayguns come supplied with a 1.4mm aircap as standard,

The Fuji Q3 and Q4 Pro systems consists of a three or four stage
turbine power unit fitted with Fuji’s unique quiet technology, which
reduces the noise level by 50%. Because the air delivery pressure
is low, an excellent finish can be achieved without the mess and
wastage which usually results from excessive overspray. Most finishes
can be sprayed, including inks, stains, lacquers, varnishes, enamels,
acrylics and so on, although some will have to be thinned before
use. Included with the unit is Fuji’s very comprehensive guide which
covers all aspects of HVLP spraying in great detail and 7.6m(25’) of
3/4” bore hose. You will need to choose from either version of the new
non-bleed T70 spray guns, either suction or gravity fed, which have
the advantage that the airflow through the gun ceases when the
trigger is released, and which also have a Spray Pattern control knob,
which gives accurate control of the paint flow. Supplied with a 1.3mm
aircap as standard, which should cover the majority of applications.

The Fuji T-Series Spray Gun features an exclusive side-mounted
pattern control knob to adjust the size of the fan. This knob
allows you to switch from a small to large pattern, or anywhere
in between. Unlike HVLP turbine spray guns with the front collar
adjustment, the pattern control knob offers full incremental fan
size throughout the whole range.The fan pattern is adjustable
from 1” to 15” from a distance of 8”. Smaller than 1” is achieved
by moving closer to the object to be sprayed. All T-Series Spray
Guns are installed with a 1.3mm needle and nozzle set-up. You
can obtain a professional finish with all known coatings. The gun
body is CNC machined to aircraft tolerances. All Fuji spray guns
are non-bleed. Air passes through the spray gun only when the
trigger is pulled. The light weight of the T-Series and easy-pull
trigger means less fatigue for the operator.

If you have ever dispensed more than half a tube of mastic
around windows or frames you will appreciate the simplicity and
convenience of this very simple gun. At the touch of the trigger
air pressure is applied to the back of the cartridge and out comes
a very even flow of material. Be warned, however, that if the
pressure is too high it tends to come out rather quickly! Suitable

framing and sheeting. Exceptionally light and strong due to its
magnesium alloy casing. The FN2890D Framing Nailer fires collated
28° clipped head nails from 50mm to 90mm with a diameter from
2.9mm minimum, to 3.3mm maximum. The nailer has a fast loading
magazine with load sight and maximum capacity of 84 nails (2 strips).
It’s handle has a rubberised grip for user comfort, especially useful for
shock absorbing and a variable position air exhaust vent. Supplied
with 2 triggers to allow single action firing only (to prevent a double

Workshop
With the increasing popularity of low cost portable compressors has come a big increase in the use of air powered
nailers and staplers in the upholstery, craftwork, furniture making and building trades. They are relatively cheap to
buy, convenient to use, very productive and, provided that sensible precautions are taken, long lasting and safe to use.
A few safety and maintenance points to watch are:
Tools should be lubricated regularly and care taken to ensure that the air pressure is correct and adjusted to suit the size of nail or staple.
Excessive pressure will cause unnecessary strain on the firing pin. The firing pin should be regarded as a consumable part and a spare
kept to hand. Nail guns use the spent air at the end of the stroke to return the piston or firing pin to the upper position and therefore,
if the gun has been used on a discharged compressor, the piston may remain in the downward position. If this should occur, and it
sometimes is unavoidable, especially when the unit is new and is not worn in, the gun should be removed from the supply and the firing
pin returned manually to its normal resting position. If the firing pin should break after a jam, a new firing pin should be installed immediately to avoid any further damage.

AW422J Narrow Crown Stapler
A solidly made trade rated stapler, weighing in at 1.3kg, and
suitable for long periods of continuous use. It uses 20 gauge
(0.9mm) staples 5.1mm wide and in lengths from 10mm to
22mm. Perfect for upholstery, thin ply or hardboard fastening
and thin T & G boards. A safety latch and exhaust air deflector are
fitted. The stapler comes supplied with a 1/4” BSP bayonet; refer
to the Airline Fittings section for details of suitable airlines and
fittings. For quick release bayonet fitting use 100313 or 410251
(swivelling).

for applications such as stapling hardboard panels, thin ply, T

length of hose to connect directly to the compressor; this hose
connects to the top of the reel handle and incorporates a rotary
seal so that the hose can be pulled off the reel without tangling
the connecting hose. The reel is supplied with hooks for wall
mounting if needed, although the reel complete with hose only
weighs in at 3.5kg, light enough to carry around the workplace.
Supplied with crimped-on fittings ready to use straight out of the
box. A top quality product, made in Germany.
