Power Saving Settings
Activate power saving mode to save the battery power by limiting the Gear’s functions. Power saving mode applies the following settings:
n Uses a grayscale Home screen.
n Turns off all functions except calling, messaging, and notifications.
n Turns off access to Mobile networks.
n Turns off Wi-Fi.
n Limits the maximum performance of the CPU.
Turn Power Saving On or Off
1. Swipe up from the home screen to display the Apps screen.
2. Tap Settings > Power saving.
3. Tap Power saving mode and then tap Turn on Power saving mode to turn the option on or off.
Reset Gear
Reset settings to the factory default values and delete all data and downloaded apps. Default apps are not deleted.
1. Swipe up from the home screen to display the Apps screen.
2. Tap reset.
Settings > Reset Gear, and then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Note: If you want to connect the Gear to a newly purchased smartphone or to another smartphone for the first time, reset the Gear. Resetting the Gear will remove the data from the memory. After the reset, you can connect the Gear to a different smartphone.
System Update
You can update your device’s Profile and PRL (Preferred Roaming List) through the settings menu.
