The Benefits of Modern Window Film Our new window films utilize today’s most modern technologies in order to produce some of the best performing films in the world with the ability to block almost ninety percent of the sun’s total solar energy. They work by rejecting heat and eliminating hot spots and create much more uniform driving environments. With this in mind, we set out to develop a film where the richness of its color would not fade and the privacy and protection provided by its color would endure years of harsh sunlight and heat. We have combined our two proprietary technologies [Chip Fusion Processing and UV Coating Processing] to create the new Superior Series, in order to solve the color-fading issue while still providing extremely high optical clarity and maximizing heat rejection. We first applied our newly developed process to our colored chip, removing the elements that were prone to fading, and then increased the quality and density of our UV coating. Next, while most manufacturers only use UV inhibitors in the adhesive to resist fading, Nexfil implemented a 2-Stage UV inhibitor process. We added our premium UV coating to our raw materials, as well as in the adhesive, to provide resistance to fading that is unparalleled in our industry.
