Status and Events Standard Event Status Register (SESR). Indicates that the power to the instrument is on. 6 URQ User Request. Indicates that an application event has occurred. The arbitrary/function generator does not use this bit. 5 CME Command Error. Indicates that an error occurred while the arbitrary/function generator was parsing a command or query. 4 EXE Execution Error. Indicates that an error occurred while the arbitrary/function generator was executing a command or query. Execution errors occur for one of the following reasons: A value designated in the argument is outside the allowable range of the instrument, or is in conflict with the capabilities of the instrument. The command was not executed properly because the conditions for execution is differed from those required. 3 DDE Device Error. An instrument error has been detected. 2 QYE Query Error. Indicates that a query error has been detected by the output queue controller. Query errors occur for one of the following reasons: An attempt was made to retrieve messages from the output queue when the output queue is empty or in pending status. The output queue message was cleared while it was being retrieved from the output queue. 3-6 1 RQC Request Control. The arbitrary/function generator does not use this bit. 0 OPC Operation Complete.
