The C and C++ Libraries
Returns
The default implementation is a veneer on __user_libspace() that returns the address of
the status word. A suitable default definition is given in the C library standard headers.
4.7.3
__rt_errno_addr()
This function is called to obtain the address of the C library errno variable when the C
library attempts to read or write errno. A default implementation is provided by the
library. It is unlikely that you will have to re-implement this function.
Syntax
volatile int *__rt_errno_addr(void)
4.7.4
__raise()
Thisfunction raises a signal to indicate a runtime anomaly.
Syntax
int __raise(int major, int minor)
major
Is an integer that holds the signal number.
minor
Is an integer or string constant or variable.
Implementation
This function calls the normal C signal mechanism or the defaultsignal handler. See also
_ttywrch() on page 4-56 for more information.
You can replace the __raise() function by defining:
int __raise(int signal, int argument)
This allows you to bypass the C signal mechanism and its data-consuming signal
handler vector, but otherwise gives essentially the same interface as:
void __default_signal_handler(int signal, int arg)
Returns
There are three possibilities for __raise() returncondition:
no return
ARM DUI 0067D
The handler performs a long jump or restart.
