Plug the cash registerinto a wall outlet.
Be sureto checkthe stickeron the sideof the cashregister
to make surethat its voltage matchesthat of the power supply in your area.The printer will operatefor a few seconds.

Important!
Whenever the low battery indicator appears on the display, load a set of three new batteries as
soon as possible.If there is a power failure or you unplug the cash register when this indicator
appears,you will lose all of your salesdata and settings.
BE SURE TO KEEP THE POWERCORD OF THE CASH REGISTER
PLUGGEDIN WHENEVERYOU REPLACETHE BATTERIES.
Maintenance and Options
To replacethe ink ribbon
l. Removethe printer cover.
2. Removethe inner cover by graspingits top on
the left side and lifting up to the right.
3. Unroll about 10 centimetersof ribbon and place
the take-up spool on the left shaft.
4. Insertthe ribbon into the ribbon feed slot between
the printer rollers. Loop the ribbon around the
outsideguardbracketsas in the illustration.
5. Move the ribbon clip to the left. While holding
the clip open,placethe feed spool on the right
shaft and take up any slack in the ribbon.

Use only the RAP-01 ribbon (purpte). Other types of ink ribbons can damage the printer. Never
try to exteld the life of an ink ribbon by replenishing the ink. Once an ink ribbon is in place, press
