Removethe inner cover by graspingits top on the left side and lifting up to the right. 3. Unroll about 10 centimetersof ribbon and place the take-up spool on the left shaft. 4. Insertthe ribbon into the ribbon feed slot between the printer rollers. Loop the ribbon around the outsideguardbracketsas in the illustration. 5. Move the ribbon clip to the left. While holding the clip open,placethe feed spool on the right shaft and take up any slack in the ribbon. Rightspindle Spool Guides Feed slot Printerrollers Use only the RAP-01 ribbon (purpte). Other types of ink ribbons can damage the printer. Never try to exteld the life of an ink ribbon by replenishing the ink.
