To open, set the tumblers to spell M-A-T-C-H and pull up on the shackle. Make sure the tumblers are aligned with the notches or the lock won’t open. To change the preset combination, decide on a fouror five-letter word that can be spelled with the letters on the WordLock™ tumblers (each tumbler contains 10 letters). 2. With the shackle open, press and hold the reset button on the left side of the lock. IMPORTANT: Press and hold the reset button the entire time you are setting the tumblers to your new word. Failure to do so could cause you to inadvertently set a random password instead of your specified choice. 3. Set the tumblers to the new word of your choice. To choose a four-letter combination, set the last tumbler to the blank area. 4. Release the reset button only when you are ready to confirm your selected word combination. To lock: set the tumblers to your selected combination, close the shackle until you hear a click, and scramble the tumblers. To unlock: set the tumblers to your selected combination and open the shackle. WordLock™ is a registered trademark and used by permission.
