Gear-wise • 2012 Los Angeles, CA 90064 http://www.gear-wise.com Traffic Handle: Adjust the leash to your desired length then re-clip the buckle together, making a loop. You will see that the size of the loop will depend on how long you have made the leash. Note: You cannot make a traffic handle when the leash is adjusted to the shortest length. Tether length: Wrap around waist, over the shoulder, around post, etc... To adjust the tether length (distance from the loop to your pet): 1. Move the slide adjuster away from the snap hook Towards handle Towards snap hook 2. Move the male buckle to meet the slide adjuster *Note: The slide adjuster and male buckle must always be together to prevent slipping Hands-Free “Around the Waist” or “Over the Shoulder”, and Tether: The loop that goes around your shoulder, waist or stationary object is simply an “enlarged” traffic handle. So follow the traffic handle instructions and make the loop large enough to fit. You can fine tune the size of the loop after putting it on, by moving the slide lock up and down the leash. **Safety notes while wearing: -The Hands-free options should only be used with a pet whose temperment you are familar with. Unexpected pulling from your pet may cause you to fall. -Keep in mind that the buckle is what is keeping the loop together. If for any reason you need to quickly release yourself from the leash, simply unclip the buckle to release. These are just a few of the basic configurations, but you may be able to come up with a new combo, or use! We suggest practicing with the leash and your petat home before venturing out.
