Connect the micro USB connection of the charging cable to your MOTA Wireless Charger’s micro USB port. 2. Connect the USB connection of the charging cable to a USB power source, such as your computer or wall adapter. 3. When the Wireless Charger is charging, the blue LED indicator lights will flash. Once fully charged, all 4 LED lights will be illuminated. Checking the Charger's Remaining Power: 1. Pressing the power button will activate the battery indicator LED lights which show the remaining capacity. 3 HOW TO USE Wirelessly Charging Your GoPro® 1. Remove the side door and connect the MOTA Wireless Receiver to the mini USB port on the camera. 2. Place the camera (with receiver) into the housing, keeping the receiver close to the bottom of the camera. Close the housing door and latch. 3. Insert the housing into the MOTA Wireless Charger Base. 4. Press the power button to start charging. 5. To turn off the Charger, press the power button for approximately 3 seconds. •The Wireless Charger Status Indicator is solid blue when wirelessly charging. If no Wireless Receiver is present, it flashes red. Charging via USB: 1. Press the POWER button to turn the MOTA Wireless Charger ON. 2. Plug your smartphone or other USB device into the “out” port to start charging. 4 HOW TO USE Charging Your Spare GoPro® Battery 1. Press the POWER button to turn the MOTA Wireless Charger ON. 2. Place your spare GoPro® compatible battery into the battery slot and ensure that the red LED status indicator displays a solid light. (A) Battery Status Indicator Light is RED when charging. (B) Battery Status Indicator Light is BLUE when charged. GoPro® 3/3+ GoPro® 4 •The spare battery slot is compatible with GoPro® 3, 3+, and 4-compatible batteries. •Charging both a spare battery and a device via the USB port simultaneously is not possible due to the Wireless Charger's overcharge protection. If both functions are used at the same time, the overcharge protection will activate and the Charger will automatically power off. 5 FAQ Q: Are all housing cases supported by the MOTA Wireless Charger? A: The housing cases supported are: GoPro® 3 Standard housing case (waterproof 10ft/3m)/BacPac GoPro® 3+ Standard housing case (waterproof 10ft/3m)/BacPac GoPro® 4 Standard housing case (waterproof 10ft/3m)/Touch BacPac/Skeleton Bacpac/Touch BacPac Please ensure that the housing case you are using does not have a metal frame and metal base joint. Metal will cause interference in the magnetic field and may lead to charging rate attenuation and equipment damage. Third-party GoPro® housings may not be supported. Q: Is the magnetic field harmful to human health or the camera? A: The principle of wireless charging is based on magnetic fields to transmit electric power through the air. The levels are low, and are similar to the levels in a wireless mouse. Q: Is the MOTA Wireless Charger water-resistant? A: The MOTA Wireless Charger is able withstand penetration of water to a limited degree. Please do not submerge in water or use in a heavily humid environment. If liquid gets inside the battery slot, please do not use until it is completely dry. Q: How long does it take to fully charge the GoPro® battery using the MOTA Wireless Charger? 6 FAQ A: It takes approximately 2.5 hours. Q: What devices does the USB port support? Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in electric shock or other injury, as well as damage to the MOTA Wireless Charger or other property. 2. Do not store the MOTA Wireless Charger in high-temperature environments such as intense sunlight or in a closed car during the day. 3. The MOTA Wireless Charger contains sensitive components. Please do not drop, bump, or cause other impacts to this product. If there are any external or internal damages to the product, including but not limited to dents, punctures, tears, abrasion, deformities or corrosion due to any cause, immediately discontinue use and contact MOTA. 4. Do not disassemble or attempt to re-purpose or modify the product in any manner. 5. Never force a connector into a port. Always check for obstructions in the port. 6. Do not expose this product to a significant amount of moisture or condensation or submerge it in liquid. Keep product dry at all times. 7. Never dispose of a battery in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state and federal environment laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your battery-recycling center. 8 WARRANTY & LEGAL 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR NEW WIRELESS CHARGER AND WIRELESS RECEIVER SOLD BY MOTA® ELECTRONICS - A SUBSIDIARY OF UNORTH® Inc. MOTA® ELECTRONICS - A Subsidiary of UNorth® Inc. (“MOTA® ELECTRONICS”) warrants that the new wireless charger and wireless receiver sold by MOTA® ELECTRONICS (“New Product”) is free from all material defects in workmanship and material. For the New Product, all warranties provided by MOTA® ELECTRONICS and all implied warranties imposed by law are limited to a 1-YEAR period, beginning on the purchase date shown on the New Product's sales receipt ("Warranty Period"). This 1-YEAR Limited Warranty ("Limited Warranty") is provided solely for the benefit of the initial purchaser of the New Product ("Purchaser"), and it excludes all 3rd parties, including distributors, dealers, retailers, subsequent owners, and other users of the New Product. This Limited Warranty is not assignable and remains in full force and effect during the Warranty Period, but only if the New Product: (a) has been properly maintained; (b) has not been abused or misused; and (c) has not been repaired, altered, or modified without MOTA® ELECTRONICS ' approval, This Limited Warranty specifically excludes all taxes, shipping costs, and problems relating to any; (1) repair, alteration, or modification not approved by MOTA® 9 WARRANTY & LEGAL ELECTRONICS; (2) abuse or failure to properly maintain the New Product; (3) faulty workmanship by any person, except MOTA® ELECTRONICS or its approved agent; (4) operation of the New Product, except as specified in its operating manual; (5) ordinary wear and tear; or (6) finish and appearance item. For each claim made under this Limited Warranty ("Claim"), Purchaser must, within 10 days of discovering a New Product problem indicating a breach of this Limited Warranty, deliver to MOTA® ELECTRONICS a written notice that explains in detail the New Product's specific defect, that shows proof of Purchaser's purchase of the New Product before the end of the Warranty Period, and that shows proof that this Limited Warranty applies to the New Product. MOTA® ELECTRONICS or its agent may investigate any Claim. For each Claim, MOTA® ELECTRONICS may, in its sole discretion, choose any of the following exclusive remedies: (I) repair or replace the New Product or any part thereof with same or similar Product, without charge to Purchase, but first Purchaser must return the New Product to MOTA® ELECTRONICS' authorized repair facility, pre-paying all shipping charges, and Purchaser must accept the same as repaired or replaced at the facility's location (i.e., FOB the facility ) within 10 days of the date of MOTA® ELECTRONICS' completion notice sent to Purchaser, or else MOTA® ELECTRONICS will deem the New Product abandoned, 10 in which case MOTA® ELECTRONICS may keep, sell, or 10 WARRANTY & LEGAL otherwise discard it; or (II) refund the New Product's purchase price to Purchaser. Without paying any amount to Purchaser, MOTA® ELECTRONICS has refunded the purchase price to Purchaser. In repairing or replacing any New Product, MOTA® ELECTRONICS may, in its sole discretion, use new, used, or reconditioned parts or provide a refurbished used product as a replacement. In connection therewith, MOTA® ELECTRONICS warrants that all new, used, or reconditioned parts or refurbished used products will be free from all material defects in workmanship and materials during the Warranty Period and for a period of up to 90 days thereafter, but only to the extent that such event occurs during the final 90 days of the Warranty Period. MOTA® ELECTRONICS may, in its sole discretion, (i) establish separate, additional, non-warranty repair and replacement programs for any new or used Product ("Non-Warranty Service Programs"), (ii) the Non-Warranty Service Program may cover any time period, before or after any Warranty Period has expired, and (iii) charge any amount and impose any term with respect to any Non-Warranty Service Program. For Non-Warranty Service Programs, MOTA® ELECTRONICS warrants that all new, used, reconditioned, or refurbished parts and products used to repair or replace any product will be free from all material defects in workmanship and material, but only for a limited period of 90 days thereafter. Purchaser 11 WARRANTY & LEGAL acknowledges that used or reconditioned parts may be used to repair any new or used product, and that a refurbished used product may be provided as a replacement for any new or used Product. MOTA® ELECTRONICS may hire a 3rd party to repair or replace any new or used product, "Including" means "including, but not limited to." THE TERMS IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE THE ONLY TERMS THAT GOVERN MOTA® ELECTRONICS' WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS FOR ANY NEW OR USED PEODUCT OR PART THEREOF. NO ORAL OR OTHER WRITTEN TERM APPLIES. THIS DOCUMENT PROVDES THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ALL CLAIMS AGAINST MOTA® ELECTRONICS WITH RESPECT TO ANY NEW OR USED PRODUCT OR PART THEREOF. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION TO THE CONTRARY IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, MOTA® ELECTRONICS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, AT ANY TIME AND FROM TIME TO TIME IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, ANY AND ALL TERMS IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. EACH SUCH MODIFICATION IS DEEMED EFFECTIVE UPON PUBLICATION ON MOTA® ELECTRONICS WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE. MOTA® ELECTRONICS’ TOTAL LIABILTY FOR ALL CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTORY, OR OTHER CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR ANY PRODCT OR PART THEREOF IS LIMITED TO 1,000. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MIGHT NOT APPLY TO PURCHASER. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES PURCHASER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND PURCHASER MIGHT HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. FOR PURCHASERS IN CALIFORNIA: PURCHASER HAS THE RIGHT TO HAVE THE NEW PRODUCT SERVICED AND REPAIRED DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. THE WARRANTY PERIOD AILL BE EXTENDED FOR THE NUMBER OF WHOLE DAYS THAT THE NEW PRODUCT HAS BEEN OUT OF PURCHASER'S HANDS FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS. IF A DEFECT 13 WARRANTY & LEGAL EXISTS DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT EXPIRE UNTIL THE DEFECT HAS BEEN FIXED. IF ANY WARRANTY REPAIR HAS 13 BEEN DELAYED BECAUSE OF CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND PURCHASER'S CONTROL, OR IF ANY WARRANTY REPAIR DID NOT REMEDY A DEFECT AND PURCFASER NOTIFIES MOTA® ELECTRONICS OF SUCH FAILURE WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER THE REPAIR, THE WARRANTY PERIOD WILL BE EXTENDED FOR A PERIOD EQUAL TO THE DURATION OF THE DELAY. IF, AFTER A REASONABLE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS, THE DEFECT REMAINS UNFIXED, PURCHASER MAY RETURN THE NEW PRODUCT FOR REPLACEMENT OR REFUND, SUBJECT TO A REASONABLE DEDUCTION FOR PURCHASER'S USE OF THE NEW PRODUCT.
