To check the bobbin thread
tension, follow these steps:
Pusn the latches of the
snunle race cover outward
as snown in figure
‘T Remove the shuttle cover
as shown in figure ©.

Suspend the bobbin, the
bobbin case and the shuttle.
When pulling the thread
gently, all of them should
siide down with a slight
resistance as shown in
figure ©. If not, the bobbin
case tension is too tight. If
they siide down too easily,
the bobbin case tension is
too loose.

the adjustment of the bobbin
case.
Once the bobbin case
correctly
is
tension
adjusted, the upper tension
can be easily adjusted as
shown on page 16.
