Off Hook Auto call the attendant Whilst Talking Function Operation Whilst Talking Function Operation DESCRIPTION SYSCOM AV Series Systems have many innovations in Key Phone operations. Please contact your SYSCOM representative for a suitable Program. E.G.: 1. Auto-Hold by paging: Press “PAGE” Key whilst talking, system will automatically hold the line. 2. Auto-Transfer by Answer-paging: Paging to auto-hold the line; After answering paging, the call will be auto-transferred to the answering-page Ext. 3. Auto Pick-Up. 4. Using Calculator whilst talking. Normal Call Hold The other side can hear music-on-hold. Every Ext. Phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Whilst Talking Call Hold (The other side can hear music-on-hold) Note: At that moment, the on-hold CO./Ext. line DSS Key’s LED begins to flash. Exclusive Call Hold Refer to system program in Zone 242; the other side can hear music-on-hold, Only the local phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Whilst Talking Exclusive Hold (The other side can hear music-on-hold) Note: When on Exclusive Hold, the on-hold CO/Ext. line’s DSS Key LED flashes slowly. Retrieve Call From Hold Pick up the on-hold CO/Ext. Line and answer the call. ◎ Retrieve Internal Call: Hold/Exclusive Hold Off Hook The DSS Key which the On hold Ext. No. belongs to Answer the on hold call ◎ Retrieve External Call: Hold/Exclusive Hold Off Hook The DSS Key which the On hold CO Line belongs to Answer the on hold call #401~#4XX Directed CO Line Note: Normal Hold Answer: Every Ext. Phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Exclusive Hold Answer: Only the local phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Auto-Hold by Paging This function is especially for AV Series Systems. Auto-Hold the on talk Line Whilst Talking Call Transfer Transfer the current call to other Ext. ◎ Direct Transfer Call Transfer Ext. No. Whilst Talking ◎ Indirect Transfer Whilst Talking Ext. (External/Internal Calls) ◎ Directed Group Pick-Up: Pickup a ringing extension within the directed group. Ringing Door-Lock Release ◎ Door-lock Release while on Door Phone call Door-Lock Release On Door Phone call ◎ System directly releases Door-lock (#61 means release the 1st Door Lock, #62 means release the 2nd Door Lock.) Off Hook On Door Phone Call Door-Lock Release Operation while Dialing Busy Extension Operation while dialing busy extension DESCRIPTION Many functions of AV Series products should be coordinated with System Program setting, so please contact your SYSCOM representative for a suitable Program. 3.5.1 Internal Automatic Recall While calling an extension and hearing busy Tone, you may use the function “Internal Automatic Recall”. ◎ Leave-message: coordinated with system program in Zone 500, 501. Receiver’s Ext. Busy/No Answer Call an Ext. Finished Leaving Message Note: 1. The “MSG” LED of the “Extension with message” (Receiver) will flash; at that time, LCD phones will display the message information. 2. After finishing leaving message, system will Automatically Recall the Caller’s Ext. and remind the Receiver’s Ext. as soon as the receiver’s Ext. has released the line. 3. Leaving-message has different grades (refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-IP=3). It only can takes effect from the superior level to the subordinate level or between equivalent levels. ◎ Answering the leave-message Receiver’s Ext. MSG LED Flash Off Hook Call back the Caller’s Ext. 3.5.2 Trunk Queuing While accessing a trunk and hearing busy tone, you may use the function of “Trunk Queuing”. System will call the extension which has queued the trunk as soon as the queued trunk becomes idle; at that time, the extension can use this trunk line by Off-Hook. Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone Finished Trunk Queuing 3.5.3 Barge-In Refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-01. Call an Ext./Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone OPER Barge In Note: 1. Barge-In has different levels. The superior level can leave message for the subordinate level, as well as the equivalent levels can leave messages for each other. 2. It gives a warning tone when barge-in. 3. System provides Tri-Parties conference function after barge-in. 3.5.4 Monitoring Refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-02. Call an Ext./Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone OPER Monitoring Note: 1. Monitoring has different levels. The superior level can monitor the subordinate level, but equivalent levels cannot monitor each other. 2. It gives no signal when monitoring. 3.5.5 Last Number Redialing Off Hook Auto hunting CO and redialing On Hook Note: When redialing the last number, system auto hunts CO Line. 3.5.6 Automatic Redialing Dialing the telephone No. repeatedly Called Party Busy/no answer Automatic Redialing Note: 1. Refer to system program in Zone 120, 121,123 for setting the auto-dialing times, dialing waiting time and auto-dialing alternate time. 2. When operating this function, the “save” LED flashes quickly. Paging Function Paging DESCRIPTION 1. AV Series Systems provide one-touch function for Paging. 2. AV Series Systems provide 5 types of traditional paging modes. 3. AV Series Systems also provide one type of special paging function: CO Auto Paging. 4. Paging function starts with an Indicator Tone lasting 1sec. All Internal & External Zone Paging Off Hook All Internal & External Zone Paging Note: “Page” Key can be set as “All Internal & External Zone Paging”. Refer to System Program in Zone 500. All Internal Zone Paging Off Hook All Internal Zone Paging Note: “Page” Key can be set as “All Internal Zone Paging”. Refer to System Program in Zone 500. All External Zone Paging Off Hook All External Zone Paging Note: “Page” Key can be set as “All External Zone Paging”. Refer to System Program in Zone 500. Directed Internal Zone Paging Max: 8 Groups. Refer to “Internal-Grouping” Directed External Zone Paging Internal Zone Number (1~8) Off Hook Directed Internal Zone Paging Max: 8 Groups. Refer to “External-Grouping” External Zone Number (1~8) Off Hook Directed External Zone Paging CO Auto-Paging Coordinated with Voice Service Card CO Call in Voice Service Answer Page-Password CO Auto Paging Note: 1. This function must be coordinated with Voice Service Card. 2. After the voice service answers the incoming external call, a page-password is needed for “CO Auto-Paging” function. 3. After entering the correct page-password, you can hear a paging Indicator Tone. 4. Refer to system program in Zone 301 IP=5 for page-password setting. 5. CO Auto Paging is to page all internal & external zones. Meet Me Paging Hearing Paging Off Hook Answer Paging Note: Refer to system program in Zone 506-ST-IP=8 for “Off-Hook to auto answer paging” function setting of Individual Ext. Conference Calls Secret Conversation Release/Conference Calls/Three-party Conversation DESCRIPTION 1. Secret Conversation Release: Ext. whilst talking with Ext. /CO, permits a 3rd party extension to join the conversation. 2. Conference Calls: Ext. whilst talking with Ext. /CO, calling other Ext. /CO to join the conversation. 3. Tri-parties Conversation: Ext. whilst talking with Ext. /CO, talking with other two CO lines by turn. Secret Conversation Release After Internal/External Secret Conversation is released, any other extensions can join the conversation by calling the extension which has operated this function. Ext. talk with CO/Ext. Secret Conversation Release Note: Secret Conversation Function permits one extension to join the conversation without level control. Conference Calls Maximum of three (3) Parties Talk with an Ext. Conferencing Call another Ext./CO Note: Conference Calls Function permits “2 Ext. & 1 CO”, “1 Ext. & 2 CO” or “3 Ext.” to have a conversation. Three-Party Conversation This function permits an extension to talk with two CO lines by turns. Call an Ext. with OHCA Hearing Busy Tone OHCA Enable Note: An OHCA Phone’s Conversation-Circuit includes one set of Handset and one set of Microphone Speaker. Baby Monitoring Baby-room Ext. Off Hook Baby Monitoring Enable Note: 1. After Baby-room Ext. (with hands free speaker) is listening-enabled, any other extension can monitor the baby-room by calling the baby-room Ext. 2. Baby Monitoring enable without Grade Control. This function will be cancelled by lifting Off-hook the baby-room Ext. Surroundings-Monitoring Refer to system program in Zone 506-ST-07, 504-ST-02. Off Hook Call the Ext. to be monitored Note: 1. Only Phones with hands free Speaker permit this function. 2. Surroundings-Monitoring enable is under Grade Control. No. SurroundingsMonitoring Enable System Data Detection Only LCD Phones permit this function. Individual Function Setting Ext. Individual Function Setting DESCRIPTION Ext. Individual Function includes: Account Code, Ext. Call Forwarding, Ext. password-protection and other common-use optional settings. Account Code Operation Refer to system program in Zone 403. On Hook Enter Account Code Auto hunting CO; Can access a Restricted Line Note: Local Telephone sends out a warning tone for password error. At the same time, LCD displays “Restricted”. Ext. Call Forwarding Total are five modes of Call Forward. ◎ Call Forward--All: All Call Forward diverts all incoming calls to the directed Ext. Ext. No. Finished Setting On Hook DSS Key ◎ Call Forward--Busy: Busy Call Forward diverts calls immediately when your extension in busy or in Do-Not-Disturb Mode. Ext. No. Finished Setting On Hook DSS Key ◎ Call Forward--No Answer: No Answer Call Forward diverts calls which are unanswered after a specified period of time. Ext. No. Finished Setting On Hook DSS Key ◎ Call Forward--Busy/No Answer: Ext.
