Confirming the voice recorder
information [System Info.]
You can display voice recorder information
from a menu screen.
• Displays system information about the
voice recorder, such as [Model], [Version],
and [Serial No.].
Displaying Wi-Fi setting
information [Wi-Fi]

Press the 2 or 3 button to select
[Wi-Fi connection] or [Change
password].
When [Wi-Fi connection] is selected:

Displays information related to Wi-Fi
connections with the voice recorder. You
can use the voice recorder as an Wi-Fi access
point only.
[Wi-Fi connection]:
Displays the SSID (network name)
and password required to use a
smartphone to connect to the voice
recorder over Wi-Fi. At the same time,
displays the QR code that is generated
by the displayed SSID and password.
To use QR codes, you must install a
special application beforehand.
[Change password]:
Select to change the password.
Each time it is executed, a different
password is automatically generated.
For security reasons, we recommend
that you change the password
periodically. Running [Reset Settings]
(☞ P.83) restores the password back
to default.
To check the default password, use
the [Wi-Fi connection] function after
using [Reset Settings].
