User’s Manual
Thank you for purchasing the Sunforce Products Solar Hanging Light with remote control. Used carefully
and in accordance with the instructions set out below, the Solar Hanging Light should give you many years
of use. Please read the instructions carefully prior to usage.

INSTALLATION
For the best results, please place your solar panel in a position where it receives direct sunlight and is
generally free from shade. Be aware of foliage and building overhangs, when placing the solar panel. For
best results please allow the solar panel to charge battery for a full two sunny days prior to first use.
Carefully remove the Solar Hanging Light and all pieces from the box. Place and secure the solar panel and
light with the provided screws. Measure the distance between screw holes located on the back plate. Mark
the area and place screws to the appropriate location.
OPERATION
This light has three settings: Off, Outdoor and Indoor.
In the Off setting the light will not turn on.
In the Outdoor setting the light will use a sensor to automatically turn on in the evening and off during the
daytime. Brightness can be controlled by the remote in the Outdoor setting.
In the Indoor setting, the sensor will not trigger the light to turn on, the light may be turned on and off using
the remote. Brightness may also be controlled by the remote in this setting.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
- For best results, batteries should be replaced every 12 months.
- Battery charging performance will vary with the time of year, and access to sunlight

Remove battery compartment cover.
Remove old batteies noting orientation of terminals.
Install the new batteries in to the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
Replace battery compartment cover.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
1. Ensure the solar panel is free from shade, during the day.
2. Check that the batteries are installed correctly and charged.
MAINTENANCE:
Clean the solar collector regularly with a damp cloth to guarantee optimum performance. Do not use any
type of solvent for cleaning.
WARRANTY:
This product is covered by a 1 year limited warranty. Sunforce Products Inc warrants to the original
purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of one year from
date of purchase.
